Campaign is up!!
Cant wait to give it a new try. Again huge thanks to PT for great scenarios and campaigns!
-
Great news, looking forward to giving the campaign another run!
-
Incredible work
-
Sweet stuff indeed.
-
Very nice looking forward to your improvements, as always!
-
blaaaahh well fair enough
-
and a carentan one
Was that big carentan scenario released in the end then? I went MIA for a while...
-
well, i enjoyed it
simple might not have been the best choice of words. Just saying it helped me put all the operations (cobra, lutich, tractable etc) into perspective and see a basic view of how it all went down. I believe it does a good job in taht sense.
seems you just cant win
Just wanted to show those who arent major grogs an apparently good (IMO) source of info on what happened they could understand.

I was searching for information about the Falaise gap battles and came accross this documentery on YouTube.
Watched the first part and have to say enjoyed it thoroughly.
Ended up watching all of it and IMO gives the viewer a clear and simple picture of what happened step by step as the gap closed further and further.
Also giggled the fact that I had "been" in St-Lambert-sur-dives just days before with KG Engel!
I indeed recomend it.
Bad points ofcourse it reuses allot of images and some are out of place but you cant win them all.

Or, as is almost always the case, the footage showing the guy driving away in a jeep that looks like it's on fire.
lol yeah, I remember that one.
-
Wow that looks dramatic. What is it like to fight on?
Dont know yet, just finished the map

-
Interesting, did the crew bail due to damage or moral?
-
AFAIK black smoke does drift with strong winds, happened in CMSF aswell...
-
Cheers, ill check them out, seen a couple of the world at war ones, great
DOnt really mind that the images arent 100 percent accruate, I can understand it to a point. Aslong as the information is correct and interesting, dont really mind the images.

I've seen many many TV WW2 documentaries use footage that simply "fits" the situation or setting. If this was the case with the clip you saw, they might have just thought a fitting clip with a PzIV would be cool and no one would ever question it. The majority of the documentaries are for non-grogs.
indeed,
btw, have a list of pro-grog documentaries?

Love your accent, compadre

In fact, some of the scientists who built it who felt that it was wrong to use it on Japan were quite willing to see it used on Germany.

Probably Anime fans

Ok you've probably noticed things have gone a bit quiet on this thread. The reason for this is I am now in the place that CMA is set in and will be here for a while now. I'm sure I will have some time to work on this project while I'm here but it will be a fairly long and slow process. Rest assured I will finish this campaign and I will update you guys as I get things done.
keep your head down!

Im suprised no one has commented on this!
playing through it again, and have to say deffiantelly prefer this version. Plays differently! Im also noticing im not loosing as many men, ergo not getting frustrated like the previous attempt. Although I think this is due to me getting slightly better at my tactics.
Again great Job mr PT, great job indeed
