right ofcourse. Forgot I had another mod running fixed thanks.
-
im all out of ideas if anyone can help - i have one sherman in an AI group number 7 - he does as he is told, i have 2 shermans in an AI group number 8 - only 1 does as he is told, the other guy just sits there and never moves - does each tank need to be in its own AI group?
depends on the move order.
If the AI group has "assualt" or "advance", they will bound, one will advance one turn or two, stop then the other one will advance. Kind of like the assault order on infantry. The only order AFAIK that makes them all move together is "dash". Try that one

Is this mod only for the Fusiliers? or does it work with the Panzer Grenadiers?

Does anyone know of or have good detailed information about what german units did what during Operation Lüttich?
I can find certain info on the internetzz that helps but if anyone is in posetion of a good link to a good page or has some documents that detail which German units went where and did what.
Its for mostly personal use and curiosity but who knows a scenario or two might come out of it, Havnt got to play with the SS that much!
Cheers and thanks-a-lot.

It's a campaign mission in Road to Montebourg.
pardon me.
-
Only 50 minutes to complete this mission? Are you kidding me? That's way too little time to complete a mission like this, given the map size and the disposition of the enemy.
If you need more time, pop the scenario into the editor and add as much time as you like

Here's some footage of a battle between rebel and government forces!
¡Muy authentico!
Love how the reporter is stanced at the end xD

Its good that we have time, its gona be allot of walking jaja

Interesting suggestions. What you *can* do now is select the entire company and give move orders to it. Once you have the entire unit selected pay attention to which icon is flashing because it is the one you are plotting the move orders for. Plot your series of move orders where you would like that unit to go and all the rest of the selected units will plot parallel moves.
I have done this with platoon sized units often and company sized units rarely never with more than that but the game does not care how many units there are.
It helps especially during setup.
Ive dont this with platoon sized forces when bounding several companies forward. Its especially useful when all your squads in that platoon are split.
-
ALL the squads? Geez....
What I do is only split the squads I am using at that time, once the assualt is over I regroup them. IF you keep a good mental picture of where all your platoons are it isnt that hard.

Suppresion is marked by a triangle that fills with red, the more it fills the more suppresed your troops are.
its the state that changes, your second list is more accurate .

Texture looks exactly like the Jagdpanzer in the Imperial War Museum. love it.

Indeed the maps are looking fantastic. and youre chunring them out jaja good job

The most frustrating thing I saw during that Panther game was: A ShermanIII hit one of my Panther's frontal armor. Ricochet, no damage. But: my tank's crew didn't feel too safe and decided to reverse to safety - straight into map's exit zone! Bye bye Panther :( Next turn the tank had disappeared.
ps. I think in my case also the main gun damage was done by Fireflies
I LOLED! sorry but that was just too funny.

This is probably why I like working on campaigns in CMSF or CMBN, the research on both friendly and enemy OOBs is so interesting!
-
Uphams everywhere!!
-
Boche - sorry to disappoint but this will be light role infantry heavy - yes there is armour but it is mostly light armour. I will endeavour to make it as interesting as possible though and hopefully you can see already that there are a number of very different maps and therefore terrain types to fight over.
Sorry I was aware of that, I did not know why I put that actually. jaja probably thinking of the recon elements. Still expecting it with the same vigor.
Running on 2 days with some 4-6 hours intermitant sleep

Interesting indeed. good big mechanized campaign scenarios are always welcome
-
I have read something about modular buildings providing the best cover, is this true?
Cheers!
-
Is this the mission where you start only with your recon force and get penalized if the enemy sees your tanks?
I completed this mission 0 casualties and 1 lost light vehicle. If I remember correctly the trick is to use the apaches to the fullest and ambush surviving BMPs with tanks or infantry
-
Again, very nice!

I dont know if this works but:

And thanks for offering your help but, although Spanish I do speak and write english quite well , I did have both a Spanish and English education! Cheers anyway!
-
Interesting. Looking forward to it.
-
its not that hard, its easier with the key combo that lets you modifiy all the floors on that side of the building at the same time.
Or do what I do when I have to go through long streched of Editor time. Put on the radio or a podcast!
