  1. Thanks YankeeDog. You obviously know more detail about modern technology. Thanks for you clarification and detail. I was just joking about using the the F-22 vs. Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.... "they would not be the ones dropping pickles in buckets." My fault for not making my F-22 vs. AQIM comment clear. I do hope F-22s are included in CMSF-2.
  2. The ability to toggle covered arcs on or off with a hot key.
  3. Excellent point Sequoia Maybe Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM)? The French seem to have managed w/o F-22s so... ?
  4. YankeeDog... Personally, I can see some potential in very short, simple campaigns comprised of less than a half dozen scenarios, really representing an extended battle lasting a day or so... This is more to my time commitment capability and personal preference. It seems some serious players that have the time would enjoy multi person mega games and if I had the time and someone spent a lot of time constructing one, it could be fun. I was wondering about the CMSF-2 Editor and what enhanced features specific to "... a full spectrum conventional conflict between NATO and Russia in the Ukraine...." Having ..." a rich tactical environment to explore with the most advanced militaries the world has ever seen...." there should be some significant Editor enhancements.
  5. Within 5 minutes' walk of the Cathedral you can get almost any great food and the stylishly attired Italian women sauntering past makes the experience even grander. Probably a factor for the choice of the Duomo di Milano for the tankette Mardi Gras Throw Us Something Misters!
  6. Mommy said spelling was like a box of chocolates and with your dyslexia you never know what you are gonna get. Mommy was right and she never fed us offal ... grandpa did that to us
  7. Much appreciated womble. I seldom check my post spelling. I dod not wish any Celtic horrification upon me. My travels to England, Scotland and Wales were way too short but most enjoyable. After a substantial B&B breakfast we stopped for hardy mid day pub food and pint(s) of fine beer. Then on to our next B&B / Hotel night of drink and food. It was fun! I would not recommend the Stenna Sea Link transfer to Ireland as that was worse than offal:D
  8. Enjoyed my brief visit to Edinburgh. Sampled whiskey(s) and enjoyed that a lot. Haggis sampled me and I got the trots. Could be all my years a vegetarian;) Nothing a bowl of Gustav Consommé could not make right.
  9. Thanks Phil, See guys BF really is looking at our Wish List. Keep feeding our "First Second Programmer" with items / tweaks we want even though Phil is "frankly busy as heck as it is":D I think Phil will be driving the takette around the Dumo square before the GL after party:D
  10. You didn't get the release party notice for in front of the Duomo di Milano? Steve & Moon will be tossing discount tokens from their tankette with the after party hosted at La Scala Sorry womble, no offal on offer
  11. May 1st so Gustav Consommé must be getting some finishing spices and garnish. Plating and presentation should follow:D
  12. I mostly play CMSF vs AI now because I don't have the regular time to dedicate to an email game and I dislike the make a move skip a few days or more and get a move back or be away for a week and where was I feeling. I am just an average player (usually at Veteran or Elite) but if I want to make the current CMSF more challenging, I play Real Time. With increasing numbers of units and using few if any pauses. the A.I. in the current CMSF can give me a good challenge. AI in CMSF-2 will be much better than CMSF ... I am sure of that. That said, AI will never equal an experienced human player on the other side. Another CMSF-2 Wish List item = *Toggle Weather* This might help in frame rate challenged scenarios. Kind of like reducing model quality or lowering texture quality I would think.
  13. I think CMSF-2 would get all the AI upgrades of CMBN/FI ... maybe more as BF has had a little more time to tweak the AI.
  14. Wednesday is May 1st so it might be snowing this week
  15. Multiple uniform options like CMBN/FI.
  16. I know you will expand Erwin. This is a perfect scenario(s) to learni how to lead with armor. I understand "hard/scary to break old habits.". Most players here understand.... just get after it. RESTART is your educational friend:) It may take a few (or many in my case) but the satisfaction of learning is worth it.
  17. BTW sbruke.. good luck with your tomatoes. Love tem straight up fresh with a touch of salt.
  18. We have plenty of HAWGs n' such here. Us EBR folks... I think I am all out of home made sausages (Home made pizzas) but my country neighbors have plenty of pig & deer parts ... as well as Bass fillets! Italian-Inspired Ceviche would work for me.... in tribute to GL! Beverage parings.... " wine, a high-acid white like Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Vetliner or sparkling wine complements the citrus and fresh fish flavors." or ... “A rich, creamy dark stout or bock strips the heat and acid of the ceviche right off the palate.” All...in anticipation of extended entertainment in Italy of GL? BF don't keep your fans famished
  19. BF & cross-platform without DRM .... I have not had any of these issues... other than boot camp ... a time consuming pain in the booty when I need to work but have a few minutes of play time. I know BF now supports MAC (my OS of choice / work) and I can easily install on a desktop & a laptop. The Help Desk was quick to fix any issues I had so ".... a complete random map generator (just like CMX1) for quick battles.." Definition of Hermit Breeding Hey, I agree & already have a man cave, La Pavoni machine... so I should be good
  20. Is it soup yet? Should be close as my pre order itch has me making pizza in anticipation of extended entertainment in Italy:)
  21. Good luck Erwin. I did many restarts before I 'got it' but the satisfaction was worth the effort.
  22. I suspect CMSF-2 is going have the general look of Euroscape as well. I used Euroscape for Sir George's NATO TV 98-5 Steelers and it looks and plays great!
