    New TOW mod warehouse

    Anyone with mods for Tow 1!! My comp. crashed and I am reloading Tow1. I sent private messages to a couple people about sending me their mods but only one person answered. I know I seen a recent post on someone else looking for mods so if you can send me any that you have I will try to upload to Green As Jades sight. Please respond here if you have anything to upload. Thanks.

    Interesting question.

    I could make a site just like the CMSF one, except for TOW.

    Is there real demand/need for this?

    Do you have to make another site? Or are you talking about adding a link which just takes you to another site page? Sorry for my misunderstanding. I do not think you will have a large audience for the TOW1 game but TOW2 seems to be doing OK. I will purchase it in the future. It just seemed appropriate to put this Battlefront game with the others as it was on the cmmods site. Thanks.

    Some new buildings

    Unfortunately through many crashes I lost the files. I search the forums for links to the files and the only one that I found goes to his FileFront page but does not show any TOW 1 mods anymore. Since people were putting TOW files on cmmods I figured putting them on GAJ's site was appropriate. If you can find me a link I will upload to battlefront. Thanks.

    I know I would like to see it. I know TOW 1 is all but dead but TOW 2 is a recent release. I contacted some of the guys - Tartari, rofl, about uploading to your site. They had some pretty good files and it would be a shame to let them just disappear. Hopefully you agree, if not thanks anyway. I am sure everyone appreciates your work to save and consolidate the files on your site.

    Since CMMODS closed do you think you can upload your TOW mods and such to GreenAsJades site. I questioned him about it and he wasnt sure there was a need. I am positive not alot of people are still playing TOW1 but maybe you guys could just get a general TOW section on his page and split it between the two games. Just a suggestion. It would be a shame to lose your work.

    Post Your Time Zone for Multiplayer

    I can sometimes get on at 400pm my time ---> 22H your time during the week. It varies as I have a 2 and 5 yearolds and games do not go well with the 5 yearold wanting to drive my tanks. They go down my mother in laws sometimes so this would free me up at 22H your time. I will try to let you know a day or two ahead of time if I know that way maybe we can hook up for a game or two.

    As far as the weekends I am on most Sat. and Sun. from 1100pm to 100am my time. So if you are going to be up that early let me know. Hope to meet you on the BF. Thanks.

    Time stamp on threads

    Am I looking at this wrong or is the time stamp on the threads wrong. I see at the bottom of the page it says "All times are GMT -4. The time now is 12:17 PM." I am in the Eastern Standard Zone which is GMT -5 and when I post the time on my post is the exact time in my zone. According to above I would expect the time stamp to be 1:17 PM which is GMT -4 as is stated.

    Infantry, Trees, and Cities.

    I have 3 questions:

    1. I played through the Poland and French campaigns and the infantry on both sides served no purpose but to fill in for KIA gun crews. Do they play more of a strategic role in the remaining campaigns? I am looking forward to going up against panzerfaust teams but will they really pose a threat? It seems that you can concentrate on the enemy armor and worry about mowing down their infantry after the fact. Hopefully it is not this way for the remaining campaigns.

    2. Are there any dense forest in this game? All I have seen so far is sparse tree placement here and there. Nothing that alters my attack plan or my movement coordinates. I just seem to be ablel to roll right across the map at leisure. I am not an expert on the landscape of where these battles took place so if this is accurate to the actual land please let me know.

    3. Lastly. Are there any maps with multiple houses or buildings grouped together? I am not looking for a huge city but something that changes up the 'lets stroll across the beautiful wide open country and engage in battle at long distance. I guess I am looking for maps that bring the war up close and personal.

    Seeking Multiplayer Opponents

    'Useful1000' was the only American player I was able to find so far. As you can see by this post - - - - - zero replies.

    I tried to start a post on the TOW2 forum about posting your timezones as to make it easier for people to hook up for multiplayer games. I am starting one in this forum also. I know this game is two years old but WTF. Please post your info not on this thread but on the new one I start. Please participate it will make it easier for everyone.

    If you are around the Eastern Time Zone (GMT-5) then go ahead and post in here so I can contact you.
