  2. I am not sure that my method is very efficient I open the file 'actors' of the map I want to import. Then you can see in this file which statics are used by the map. I import only these one (for the first map of course). But if the statics are not already extracted by the filelist, you need to do it, it can be a long process. But by proceding maps by maps, it is less boring ! I did this for Rovno, but Radmir did it better than me, so I will take his map/statics.
  3. Thank you ! Oberleutnant converted the tanks from TOW 1 (Russian and German tanks for the years 39-41) I will prepare an english version of his mod. Then, if we can add a map from TOW 1 with these units, it would be very nice ! The work is progressing well !

  7. I tried to import the Rovno map from TOW 1 to TOW 2. Still a lot of work of course But no problem for these statics. Tanks are also from TOW 1, and are imported by Radmir
  8. Sorry, I read too quickly your question. It was clear ! As US campaign does not exist, it will be a only a user campaign. If we ceate a campaign, it will appear in the user campaign section. Not difficult to create a campaign, but it needs time ! A small team will be more efficient !
  9. USA is already in the encyclopedy with the eastern wind mod Or I forgot a file :confused: It is possible to make a US campaign if you use the existing maps.

  11. You can give them an armor equivalent. And they can be seperable also. But I don't know how the game engine deals with that. I think it is well done.

  17. No, I just mean that it should be easy to add TOW 2 trees (and brushes) on the map you have imported from TOW 1, with the map editor. Or my guess is not correct ? If yes, I can help to plant trees A long work, but not hard ! By the way, is it possible to import Gnasher bulldog's map ?
  18. Excellent ! Trees can be easily added, I did not make maps, but I modified some. So what you have done is the most difficult part :eek:
  19. I used some senarios to make missions, especially for TOW 1 Yes Units can be imported. Italians can be imported. But Poles and French, it needs more work. One possibility is to affect french units to UK or USA army, for exemple ! That can make sense for the end of the war, as french used US weapons. But less for the begin of the war.
  20. More than a fiction, I think it is a simplification. Some 85AA were probably mounted on trucks, but probably heavier trucks. For the DShK, I can do the same than for the MG jeep. And search if I can replace the US MG but an CCCP MG. After, it is not sure that I can deal with animation !

  24. Excellent So now, the only major missing thing is how to create a new nation in TOW 2/3 ? It is not clear for me if Tartar, you have imported polish and french units as new nations, or with an existing nation ? What russian modders think about that ? :confused:
