Hi,
i need a screenshot software (freeware)to take as many screenshots in CMSF while playing as i want.
What can you recommand ?
-
Great Work Webwing, really !

Sounds good.Originally posted by the Fighting Seabee:As far as I know, the only real problem with 1.06, as pertaining to missions, is the TF Thunder campaign. The ai placement seems to be off. Pretty much all of the other missions seem to work perfectly, although some may be easier or harder, depending on the situation.
I would say to play them all anyways.

Thanks for the answer, but how should i understand that ?Originally posted by SlapHappy:And the grey line means that only some of the targeting elements in the unit can achieve LOS to the target.
I mean, with infantery i know it but with a tank ?
The screenshot is from the "Schwend" Scenario...that is fu**ing huge.

I play in German language (Paradox Version), but have this english text since 1.06:
What does "Spotter is Partial Hull Down" mean ?
-
Yes, do you know the Problem now ?
-
Fire up any number of scenarios. 'Rescue on the Outskirts', for example. Place a Syrian squad on the roof of a bldg, adjoining another identical bldg. Plot a movement from one roof to the other. The squad will exit their current bldg, and climb the stairs of the contiguous one rather than step over the tiny, shin-high wall separating them. Renders urban combat rather farcical, methinks. </font>Originally posted by MarkEzra:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Childress:

Have a play around and see if you can repeat it, and how.

Now, i there anyone who can play with the Paradox 1.06 Patch ?
-
...good that i can drink my german Löwenbräu !
-
We must wait so lonmg for this patch that i hope we dont will have "big bugs" like the terrible "low wall bug".
-
From the Paradox Forum:
Will they get the Patch "on time" to make them ready fast enough ?Fredrik IIDepends on if we get it from BF on time.
-
I see it...
We will have to wait more then 2 days for the Paradox Patch.
If it will be a week i will never again buy any Game from Paradox.
-
Sounds great !
With this campaign and 1.06 i know what i will play in the future...
-
Great work !
I love RED VS. RED...

If this come true i will eat my mousepad...Originally posted by Battlefront.com:We hope that the Paradox patch will come out simultaneously this time.

Is something possible today when you have good equipment against modern (west) tanks ?
Its all in German and i cant translate it all...
But the text is about a German Soldier who destroyed 7 US-Tanks (Sherman) within 24h in the same battle with panzerfaust and mines.

Are there descriptions in the programm where all NATO Symbols are avowed (what they show) ?
-
That means that we get the Paradox Patch at the same time ?Originally posted by Battlefront.com:We're getting close. It won't be ready for this weekend, unfortunately, but I'd say mid next week looks pretty certain.

Is this Tool in German Language to ?

Thanks for the info but can you tell me if this:Originally posted by Battlefront.com:In a few days we'll have a better idea when it will be released. There are still a few rough edges we want to make sure are smoothed out before we release. If nothing significant turns up between now and, say, Monday, next week will probably be chewed up getting the patch ready for distribution to you guys. If something does crop up it will be later, obviously.
BTW, Charles has given me strong reassurance that he feels anybody that can run CM:SF v1.05 should be happy with the performance out of v1.06.

Do you will use tracers so that the enemy can see better where you are ?Originally posted by GunzAbeam:Isn't that the way it is in real life?
At day tracers maybe used to lead the fire of your soldiers or if you dont have other ammo.
-
Yes but what about dont see the tracers with the first shot, maybe you can see the tracers only i you have spoted the shooter ?Originally posted by MikeyD:In CM you're missing so many real world cues. You can't locate the direction of fire from the sound for instance. And simple-minded visual cues like seeing civilians all look to the right and start running to the left! I recall one problem in WWII was the tendency of soldiers to start firing in the same general direction as their buddies. That kept alot of soldiers from firing that opening shot in a firefight, thinking of all the flying lead they'd attract. The tracer graphics are meant to compensate for the lack of other sensory inputs. There is a way to mod tracer skins to be invisible. I think you'd find the game unplayable though.
At the moment you dont need to spot the enemy...you see where the tracers come from.
