  2. Hello for all and first, one question: (actually this is main reason for this thread) I just uploaded my soundmod for repository, about one hour++ ago. Should the uploaded file be visible immiedately, or is there any "waiting time"? The files are not checked for any viruses, so I think that staff does not inspect uploaded files at all? I uploaded the file and it took some time, but then there came notification that upload is complete. As for now, I cannot find my uploaded mod from repository. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Info for the actual mod: Suffer 49 brings you 49 sounds of suffer in the form of user-friendly .brz. Some yells are quite violent and some are long moaning from the mouths of the wounded. I have playtested the mod and quite pleased for it. Of course it may sound silly to listen them separately with player, but in the game those sounds give their best shots. Thank you Mord for instructions to mod the game. Use with Mords mods highly recommended!
  3. Strange that some have pitch-black screen on night missions... beacuse mine are just a little darker than daytime. I have ati card.

  5. First of all, thank you for this great game. Secondly, please put gamma slider in options, seriously. Overall presentation is over-lighted, almost out-of the contrast. Feels like my brightness is maxed up when starting CMBN. What you think? Over & Out ruutana

  7. What player are you using? At least winamp and foobar2000 plays .ogg-files.
  8. Hi Mord and all others. I can help you with my buddy. I have semi-professional recorder with good quality, so we can make some sounds for the mod project, if you are interested for any help. For an example, here is a link for a .rar download where you can find bunch of .ogg files what we have made for medieval combat simulation game mount & Blade. We made all death and pain yells all over. http://www.speedyshare.com/files/26848515/download/Mandie8.rar I could also modify those sounds a little and mod them to CMBN. Dunno actually know how to do this, but if I could get some help, I can make little mod from those sounds. Of course we can also record totally new pain\death sounds and think about ww2 when recording them. Those sounds behind the link were intented for melee suffer.

  10. Made this 30 min night battle. It´s blue vs blue. Advance trough swamp to the little corner of city. No armor or strykers, this is purely infantry-only mission.   11. Tactics to get near high building. Choose one break-in point. You sure miss many men during assault, but get some strong shelter. Use occupied buildings to create blind suppression fire towards the visible gunflashes. I suppresses and kills also, trust me. You have couple of AT-mens also, use them to kill seen enemy positions that cannot yet be idetified. This method can slaughter whole enemy team in two or three shots.   12. Battle is red vs red and units are from special forces, they have night goggles... I suggest to download and try beacuse the battle is littlebit "different" than most of scenarios. I love to make night battles beacuse you can see tracers more clearly and the hit percentange is lower. Starting pt. 2 today, featuring some pathetic mg-cars.
  13. Hi all, Play as Blue. Mop-up a little part of town in middle of the night. Both sides has nightgoggles, but not experience. This makes the game feel like not-so-lethal, and the combat goes on slowly, allowing you to react. Try it, this is my first scen for cmsf, so please have some mercy. Ps. had no time to make map more detailed. Edit. Made some new things, better now.   16. My menu is somewhat crazy, button appear and disappear, and my big interest, the scenario editor cannot be used beacuse icons and button disappear from time to time. And also (i play 1.02) the shadows are very buggy in action... I have radeon x1950xt. Anyone else have this annoying menu bug? edit. I have newest drivers and so on.
  17. "I assume 1.03 is out on Friday...(two weeks from the 10th)" So we paradox- owners must wait the two more weeks after that friday and then we´ll get broken patch what will be fixed another two weeks. I hope not but fear the worst... Anybody have clue what kind of fixes will be in 1.03?
  18. Yep, Im pretty sure it is the broken patch. Real exe is much bigger file.
  19. There is still the same old "not-so-good" -patch at paradox web page. In other forum, one guy mentioned that he applied that buggy patch and it worked.. When the real 1.02 arrives, I´ll install CMSF to the clean desk and apply the patches and...wait for the next ones! 1.03_perkele edition 400MB.
  20. Well, I installed paradox 1.02 patch (35.6mb) and suffered terrible issues: Infantry did´nt want go to buldings and pathfinding was much much worser than in 1.01a. I couldn´t click most of units in combat (you know what i mean) Wher ordered stryker to move, the soldiers in it bailed out. I experienced those bugs after the patch installing, the 1.01a was working "fine". Hello to all, my name is ruutana, live in Finland, eat carrots and have been a huge CMBB fan for years. Hope also CMSF fan, time will tell how you fellas can put this game to one piece. Lots of AI patching needed etc. EDIT. Also the game doesn´t function wery well in my radeon x1950xt. Menus are flickering and dissapearing, as well my shadows are fainting time after time even if I play 1.01a... I have newest drivers etc.
