  1. If you guys are looking for WWII era music you can look here: USA/UK http://www.militarymusiconline.com/US-UK.htm USSR http://www.militarymusiconline.com/USSR-Russia.htm Germany http://www.militarymusiconline.com/german.htm
  2. Solution? There isnt going to be one Im sure. Sometimes when new material is added its enough that saves cant carry over. You could try saving your campaign saves seperate before you apply the patch and then importing them back. Dont know if that will even work though.
  3. If the guy has an issue with the game he should email the sales support staff, not come on the forums and make such comments. People think that forums are the one stop fix for everything...they are not.
  4. yeah saved games are lost with the patch.
  5. Well then...good news indeed!
  6. Not really...patches can take several months to finish. The last patch for Medieval 2 took a few months to see the light of day.
  7. Im not saying the TOW doesnt have its flaws. I think the point Im comming from is that I sick and tired of reviews calling the game things like "The Theater of the Absurd". The game is not crap...far from it. You want crap go find a copy of Daikatana.
  8. Doesnt shock me really. Most mainstream mags arent going to be positive review of a WWII RTS unless its a COH clone. The game has its flaws, but its far from "The Theater of the Absurd".
  9. Dont you have other games to play besides TOW? I know we all want the patch, but this topic is just spam.
  10. You could find someone on the forums that you could pay through PayPal and buy it for you.
  11. The patch is in the works what else is there to know? Im sure we will know when the patch is comming a few days before the fact. Making ten new topics on the patch isnt going to get us info any quicker.
  12. Thought I would bring this thread back to the front... Shot edited with planes from IL2 [ June 20, 2007, 10:40 PM: Message edited by: Sturmmann ]
  13. I think that would be an interesting way to play the game, but unless somebody mods it I wouldnt get my hopes up.
  14. Then why keep posting on a forums? If you think the game is crap then sell your copy on eBay go play something else.
  15. Entering buildings will be through a pay add-on more than likely.
  16. I tried to get MP to work with a friend who has the game only a few hours away from me and it never worked. They need to streamline it or something.
  17. I honestly think with 1C behind it TOW has a bright future. IL2 has become THE WWII flight sim thanks to the dedication of the company and the fans so there is no reason that same success can't happen here. CaptainBly if you don't care for this game or its future why don't you go troll somewhere else. Hardly any PC game is perfect when it comes out anymore. If you have played PC games for any length of time you would know that.
  18. Yeah, you would think by now that would be the case, but there are still people who don't live near the option to get high speed. Now if you do live where the option is available then there is no excuse...I've seen some high speed packages start as low as $20 a month.
  19. If you don't like the game then why are posting on the TOW forums? I think by now most people have come to their own conclusions about the game...no point beating a dead horse.
  20. I had zero problems with the demo. They are tweaking it for the next patch to run alot better than current build, but you may check the support forum to see if you can get it to run better.
  21. Day of Defeat, Red Orchestra, IL2 1946, Company of Heroes, Medieval 2, Oblivion, ArmA, Battlestations Midway, Pacific Storm, Stalker, ect ect ect.... No shortages of games
  22. Sounds great Finn! I would be checking back for your progress.
  23. I just beat it last night on my second try. What worked for me was plugging every bridge with a tank and keeping my AT guns back. I didn't lose a single tank and only one AT gun.
