Okay I have re-worked these icons in the little spare time I have     Bil's Floating Icons BETA 2
 
Most work was done to the US icons... they now are square in shape and I have adjusted the color so they will work in any lighting conditions... (Ukrainian Icons do not have these changes yet).

 
When selected the icons reveal the nationality (for the US the icons will flash green). NOTE: This will not work for the shared icons, including, HQs, snipers, FOs, etc.:

 
I have also reworked the FOW icons... note the difference between the Russian and US FOW icons.  NOTE: My philosophy is that FOW icons are a warning to the player that something is out there.. hence the design:

After reviewing the tank today I have decided to make another version with a darker tone, it's not a big deal because it can be done in no time.
I stick with the desaturation because, in any case, darkening saturates the color already. Looking at it should be the original BTR's green.

How to install: if you prefer this version please download the original T-72B3 mod, then copy the contents of this download into the previous T-72B3 mod folder and overwrite the files.

Not easy to add camo on the T-90, as for the T-64 Bulat, the ERA blocks are not one different than another, and some texture bits are used for both elements of the couple (example: shtora emitters), so, unfortunately, I can't paint only one of them.
 
I am sure to release both the standard green version and this camo one. Both with the same weathering.

I've submitted the master map from which the maps for mission 2 and 3 of the Russian campaign were cut.
 
The full size map is 5k x 2k. It has a few flavor objects, but not to many so as to avoid slowing things down.

So i decided to try modding some of the Russian/Ukrainian firearms, not going to call it a mod just yet because i can't guarantee ill get far with this one (like most of my others ) but so far i like the results...
 
Here is the older AK-74, RPK-74, and AKS-74u which all share the same textures. Deep red Russian laminate stock and polymer mag but thats what i like...

 


 
 

 
Still have to do the folding stock and figure out how exactly the brake on the "Krink" is textured...

Kieme CMBS reworked USA uniforms
 
This mod slightly changes US soldier uniforms, mainly by adding some weathering.
I decided to go with not excessive weathering because the look of it would be quite horrible compared to the base colors and the camouflage, just a little to avoid the original "fresh new" effect.
 
Changelog:
-light desaturation to the base colors of uniforms, helmets, backpacks, camelbacks, large pouches, boots.
-enhanced details
-3 layers of dust, dirt, mud applied to the clothing.

This mod starts with BTR 's research and conversion of russian vehicles into a realistic green color, so all credits shall go to him as the author of the original texture, which is in my opinion a great digital version of the original modern russian green, therefore special thanks to him and his work.

I have desaturated and slightly brightened the green color and added layers of dust, dirt, rainmarks, scratches, details etc. and enhanced the normal maps a bit.

I have taken a look at the US uniforms. I am one of those who don't particularly like the look of the new camouflage (which might be better in person), but there's nothing to do about it, like it or not is a great fit in game, very similar to the real one. We could mod the old '80s woodland one in, but it wouldn't be much of a sense wouldn't it?
It looks bad sometimes due to the stretching effects that textures show on the soldier models when they have certain postures or do some movements.
 
So I will try to apply some mud and dirt on the lower parts for now, just to make the uniforms a bit more used and dirty.

Awesome is the only word to describe these, I have downloaded them all and the change is dramatic to say the least. As others have said, if Battlefront isn't paying you someone should be.
