did you run the Tow setup exe? because I have learned thats the only way to make the changes to you settings if you do it in game it mess's it up.

yes I'm using the 1600 pro as my PSU was'nt up to snuff for that card 1950 pro. But yes with these new drivers, I'm getting better performance from the game now with these 7.5 I'm building a new system right now. I got everything installed but when I opened up the Ultra X Connect modular 700 watt power supply, I had a nice surprise it wasnt a 700 watt even though the box said 700 watt it was a 600 watt xf600. so my current building system is delayed right now Specs. Bus I beleave your PSU (power supply Unit) is at fault here you have a 3.0 ghz is this a dual core? and your GeForce 6600 Is this PCIe If so you really should be running a PSU of 500watts or more with 12v rails of 32amps.

OK with the new 7.5 drivers I updated, I'm not having very bad frame rate issues anymore seems to be running fine now.

in vista rightclick on you game icon and look for a setting allow admin user. in the desk top you should see a icon for towsetup same thing with that, all programs you put on Vista, you will have to allow admin to run. I have no Idea why Micr$oft did this, but its got to be done. This is one reason I havent gone to Vista I'm waiting this OS out for a while.

what drivers do you have set up? and in the video settings run that first before you start the game. also make sure all programs for the game is admin allowed all on.

I tell you it's hard to straff ground targets such as tanks. I play IL2FB 1946 and have the same problems straffing tanks, it's a hard klll. :cool:

GO here to down load the Modified version. CMODS Simply sign up and then go to the Theatre of War link and you will see diffrent links go to dates sort and down load the mission#3

I think your right the older video cards work so maybe they will add support into the game for the newer ones. looks like a fix in the game engine to recognize the newer cards x1950 has a 1.85 ghz gpu speed and core clock at 850 so it just a matter of them getting the engine to operate with the newer cards.
