Hi Chris, Watched all your training Videos on Youtube last night very good. thanks All most temped to save up money and purchase CMBS Waiting to see if the release a Demo. and see if I could play it with my old low end system. I am able to play small battles running CMBN-CW-MG Ver 3.11 game engine 3. if I turn Shaders off. Shadows off and trees on low. detail. Boy you first have a first class system with those training video's on youtube. Would you mine posting your PC spects? Regards Lane

I guess my question was not very clear. Sorry about that. If I was to make a third fresh. install. Would I start by running my setup disks I received from B.F. CMBN-CW. Once that was done then run the new installer that I D/L from B.F. The above is if I wanted to install a third install.? Regards Lane

Question? About the new installer. This may a dumb question but here goes. To use the new installer do you first install CMBN and CW from the set up disk? Then run the installer on the installed CMBN /CW that you set up from the disk.? I have two CMBN-CW-MG installed one Ver 2.12 and the other Ver 3.11 game Engine 3. Thanks for any info. Regards Lane

Download dragonwynn campain and installed . Just see what happens. It was grayed out with red flag saying I have to have Vehicle Pack. So I guess I just have to save up and buy Vehicle Pack. Regards Lane

You guys seen this? I was setting up a Quick Battle with my CMBN-CW-MG upgrade to V.311 and got to the part were were you can have game select the Units? and Wham?CTD with error message? So I start troubleshooting. removed my Z Folder with my mods. and no more CTD? So I added back the Z Folder. and mod that was causing the crash. "Sorry Vein." I was your. Animated text mod for CMBN V.311? I had the your Heavy Animated text folder Loaded. I have your Vin's CW-Uniforms -June 13 mod installed work's fine. I had some other mods loaded sound folder and some of Veins mods. No Problem. Just wonder if anybody else has had a CTD with this mod? Regards Lane

Thank's Sbuake, and Ithikial AU Found it D/L and installed in ver 2.12 Started Battle and when on Rescue mission. To see if I could get 1st Platoon HQ Guys out of that building before getting killed. Used there Blast packs to blow out the Wall, then one to get through the hedge Row. They Killed one German on there escape. First time I made it out with all three guys. They are in open field. waiting on rescue from there Troops to blow hole in hedge to complete there escape. saved will see what happens. in the future turns. Thank's again for the link. I like playing this Scenario. "Three Patrol Action." Have it on my V.311 Game engine 3 CMBN. I have a second CMBN-CW-MG Ver 2.12 installation but I don't see it listed? Is it a stock Scenario? or is it added by patch upgrades?. Just wonder why I have it in V.311 but not 2.12. In the mean time checking what mod's work in V.311. Thanks for any info. Regards Lane

E-Mail and I had made Folders for my Battle Front e-mail's confirming my orders and there was the upgrade Keys Serial numbers in the e-mails from BF. Sorry I made the above topic. You guys have any trouble with this operation? I DO.? When I go to copy and paste S/N key there is a SKU Number or Letters in front of S/N Some times I never known were SKU Letters and number end? I have seen 5 to 7 numbers Some times I think I mess up when I copy one of the SKU Letters or numbers when I am copy and pasting operation. for activation of a module. I wish BF would always move the SKU number So it don't look like the S/N. Just wonder if anybody else has had this problem? Thanks for reading. Regards Lane

Hister, I did move my whole Combat Mission Battle for Normandy Folder Ver 2.20 to C:\PC Games\ Combat Mission Battle for Normandy. Just like your Screen shot. showed. Ran the installer "Success." "Then the Activate game." With the serial numbers. Then after Hrs of copy and Past I finally got all the right serial numbers installed. Fired the game up and all the modules are turned on. CW and MG And down at bottom it says Game Engine 3 and Ver 3.11. So I guess it's good to Go. Thank's Guys for your help. I guess i can say "SUCCESS SUCCESS" 3.11 patch installed. Well I am back for the night. yes I have a extra Cmbn Folder with the 3.11 patch files. in my CMBN-CW-MG Ver 2.20 Folder " Thank God it did not mess it up." I guess the next thing to done is Delete the Extra CMBN Folder. and run the installer again. And try to see when wrong with my install path. This is path I had set. C:\Documents and settings\Lane\My Documents\Combat mission Battle for Normandy. I think I need to move my Combat Mission Battle for Normandy Ver 2.20 to a different Location. And hope I don't mess it up. Update: Just delete the extra the Combat mission Folder. the one with the 3.11 files. that was inside my Ver 2.20. Fired up the Ver 2.20 working fine. I think I will try to move 2.20 CMBN-CW-MG Folder to a simple Location. So to set the installer 3.11 to this location. Update: Going to see if I can move the CMBN to simple path Like Hister. show his. Lane

Found Problem. ian.lestie hit the nail right on the head. I have a additional Combat Mission Battle for Normandy Folder inside my CMBN-CW-MG ver 2.20 with the 3.11 files. inside. First try "No Cigar" Back to drawing Board. Step one. download all the 9 files and used 7-zip to extract files in folder on desk top unzip and had a file folder called Files inside I used the top file CMBN set up file. Here were I may have may a mistake? I set the install path as same location as my original CMBN-CW-MG Ver 2.20 after I ran the install it was the same CM Ver 2.20 Nothing had changed all modules were working. I wonder if I need to install in a different Location? Will try tonight I need to get some sleep. Regards Lane

Unless I get a quick understanding on how to install the 3.11 Patch this may the end for me.installing new patches from B.F Right now I have CMBN-CW-MG upgraded with 3.0 patch. and it show' ver 2.20. I don't have the vehicle pack as yet. I go to the download location and I see all 9 files with check mark's?? Do I download all them except the Vehicle bin file? It all greek to me. I am 78 yrs old. I guess I have been lucky so far with update my CM. but again. I read were Moon said this was the new way to patch future BF sims. Right now it it just clear as Mud on how to install the 3.11 Patch. Guess if I keep playing CMBN it just going to be Ver 2.20 the way it looks. I feel Like I am getting close to just quit running Sims. I ran Silent Hunter sub sim's and Flight Sim 9 and just removed them. As you see my PC is Low end and very old. Well I guess I better hang up my crying towel for now. One Last Question if my some strange miracle I did get 3.11 installed what version would it show down in the corner right now with the 3.0 patch it shows Ver 2.20? Regards Lane.

I have CMBN-CW-MG and version says 2.20 I guess I have the upgrade patch 3.0 It still says 2.20 ? How do you check? I may order the vec pack? Thanks for any info Lane

I had Free Avg Home edition use it till it wiped out my CMBN-CW-MG exe files. Removed it and installed AVAST Free. no problems after that. Lane
