  1. Thats what I did. Its the background color I and a problem with blending in. I will rework them though.
  2. Image of my modded sceanrio allowing cavalry and mechanized units.
  3. I made these counters for SC2 WaW. I also made a historical scenario based on these figures compesating for different factors and how countries ran. I reduced many of the free unit types for the AI. Still play testing it. The production actually was very accurate in the default game. 3x BB, CA, CV per counter 50x DD per counter 10x SS per counter 750 AC per counter 3 divs per corp (RU and IT are ~5) 5 divs per army (RU and IT are ~8) Sources: Ellis's Brute Force & WW2 Databook Overy's Why the Allies Won Wheal, Pope, & Taylor's Encyclopedia of WW2. I replaced Special Forces with Cavalry and Anti-tank with Mech. I didnt feel either unit really fit into a corp/army scale game. My problem is I can't figure out how to adjust the tech improvements. I cant find the files where they are at. Like anti tank only improves anti-tank tech not inf weapons. I need to modify this so mech improved AT and inf weapons.
  4. I changed Special Forces to Cavalry and Anti-tank to mechanized forces. I made the sprites and adjusted the values in the editor. But the problem now lies in technology improvements. Like mech only gets anti-tank improvements because the old unit is anti-tank. Cavalry is fine because, I assume, special forces was considered infantry. I need to alter the anti-tank unit to count as an infantry unit. Ive have been looking through files but cant seem to find this. Is it hardcoded in the software?
  5. Engine: Turn based. Same engine. I am 40 and have played many turn based WW2 games. I purchased most of the ones that are around in recent years. Your engine, for a turn based game, is the best. It is just complicated enough, it is easy to use, it is fun. Keep it and improve. WaW expension was great. I enjoyed the game much more than SC1 and SC2. Synopsis: Expand the game to include the pacific theatre. This is an army/corp level game. Replace units that dont belong in a game of that scare with units that do. Take out special forces and anti-tank. Include Marines (infantry good at invation) and Mechanized (good vs infantry, weak vs armor, cost is between the 2). Allow invasions of single islands like Malta. Right now it has to be bombarded to death 1st. Alter counter look when upgraded (like if unit gets motorized show it by altering counter), use NATO symbols for counters. Make repair of ships difficult (1 point per turn) Design Summary: Only change I would make is in the naval. CVs should have air counter, scale correctly, 3 BB, 3 CV, 25 Subs, 25 DD, 3 CA per counter, 750 A/C per counter. Expand AI for allies to include many options besides doing only D-day. Expand AI for axis to includ many scenarios. Perhaps AI selects its base strategic goals as scenario is set up (Gibralter, Kill Russia Ger and Jap, 42 barbarosa taking med, Sealion). For single island invasion unit would hang off of island in ocean hex. Only one unit can invade a single island. Problem #1: Not sure if expanding the map and game would create problems. AI for Japan and USA would be difficult. Problem #2: Counter altering, CV air component.
  6. I actually did my own research earlier this year and came up with a formula for each county. SC actually is very very accurate to historical.
  7. Is this in your mod? or in the normal game? Where can I download it
  8. WaW very good improvement to the game. I give you guys 2 thumbs up. I played Com: Europe @ War and I likes it, very pretty but I like your game better. AI is better, better scripts, better events. --- on to the question Trying to make a historical mod and I wanted some info on production. It seems like prodution is set @ X MPPs and is only modified by technology up a little or down a little. In the actual war production went up drastically. An example is that the germans produced a lot more aircraft in 1944 than in 1940. Is this how production is stuck at?
  9. How do you change the screen size on the editor?
  10. France is the key to the game. Without France falling the game falls apart for the Germans. Histroically the French should be a pushover. Their tanks had better armor and a better gun but they sucked overall. No radios, too few men operating the machine, and the units too spread out to be effective. Simply put the French army pretty much sucked compared to the Germans. The Germans learned a lot from Poland and applied this to the French campaign. The army and airforce were inferior to the Germans. France should be a push over to advance the game and they were historically.
  11. Which are the best AI for Axis and Allies I found the PC playing the axis is more challenging then the PC playing the allies.
  12. I am curious to compare it to mine. I modded my 1939 scenario for historical OOBs. Changed experience on units to reflect how good they were. Germans +1 XP on land and ships, +0.5 air UK +1 ships, +0.5 air Russia, Italy, US: zero Plopped in the right amount of units added more corp to the russians at weaker strengths. Although I do not know how to script.
  13. Well I guess I can stop working on mine. I was doing it part time. Looks fantastic.
  14. Well ran into another problem. As I am making the map of the pacific it is 4x as large as the european. So the I have to scale it down. I hope I can modify the movement cost of each time. I need to double the movement cost on the pacific. I am already making the maps. I am basing it on World In Flames maps. WW2 grand strategy game I play.
  15. That sounds good. I was worried about creating Vichy and if it could be done without France being a major.
  16. I could make china minor. Just worried about too much MPPs going over to them. Japan would have to be a major though at the very least. Id probably combine US and CW. Hmm any way to make France a minor sharing CW's MPPs?
  17. Just bought your game and looking over it. I would really love to make a full pacific and european campaign game. I did notice the game only allows for 6 major powers. I would need to add china and japan for the pacific. Any chance you can up the major players to 8 in the game? Otherwise I gotta figure out how to do it with 6.
