SC 2 is very good in it's way and HOI is too.

Well what I like about strategic command is the take your time thing in it but in HOI 2 it is just more realistic then SC2 I mean if there is an attack you must react immediatly and pour in more troops. Also the supply system is more realistic (tanks getting out of fuel depots airfields. The tech tree in SC2 is just to simple for a war game and the diplomatics in SC is just so little. To few country's no possibility of setting up puppets. It is just to easy to play that's why you get bored of it. Composing your armies and giving brigade atachments, Generals and Promoting experience all those little things make HOI a better game I think.

I have waited 2 years for SC2 and the result was a bit dissapointing. I got tired of it within a week. However there is a new game Hearts of Iron 2 which was real fun to play really because the AI is much better, more historical events, the whole world, choose a general for an army and say what kind of divisions and brigade atachements should be in that army, promotion of generals, oil, the scale. All the things I had hoped for with SC2 and I didn't get.

would be quite stupid to defend the Maas because it is a river wich only enlarges your front and leaves spearheads.

I guess it's the same reason Jodl and Keitel are not included. Rommel and the others had vital roles in the war.

I am currently working on the map and not yet focusing on reskinning and scripting Kuniworth. in about two weeks I will start with that.

I am currently working on a mod of Alexander the Great for strategic command 2. The goals for this project are building a well balanced historical correct and fun to play strategy game at a large scale. For you only have Axis and Allies makes a mod of this time difficult but certainly not impossible. I will post screenshots later. On this forum I will edit updates concerning the mod. -Started with measuring of the map and builded Peleponessos as a starting point for the map. Greece finished.

ok thanx i think I can deliver a strategic command mod of alexander in two months. It sounds a bit easier than modding RTW so I guess it will just work out fine.

Wrong and right, in WOI the wall was called the Hindenburg defensive wall and the siegfriedline. In WOII it was called the siegfriedline

Luxemburg doesn't have an army and the Netherlands were the tird great colony possesor in the world i thought so adding 10 mpp wouldn't be so bad (Rotterdam is the biggest port in the world) and Amsterdam as capital.

I would think it's perfect to split the Benelux. Every country is splitted except these three. Why actually? If the germans had not bombed Rotterdam they would have fighted weeks behind the rivers of the Netherlands. Delays in a blitzkrieg are never goos.

Every one is compaining about US not joining. But it was Hitler declaring war not the us declaring war. However in the game the US is just **** they send 2 units to france and then they don't do anything but buying armies. No TANKS!!!! The americans had the most tanks at the end of the war. They also don't build ships. (Like no AI) I't's quitte anoying. The AI is way to weak!!!!

my period is the period of Alexander the great. The fact that if Alexander was not poisoned he probably conquered Europe. As in Belgium and Luxemburg in the Netherlands no dial-up anymore. It is just cheaper to take ADSL or T1 or Cable. In my neighbourghood the fastest connection you can get is 30 mbps Which I of course use.

How can you still have Dial Up in times like these??? In the Netherlands I don't think Dial Up exists anymore
