    Pure speculation but last week or the one before i battled with somebody I never met before with a certain style if I may say so
  3. that was my point, you don't send around ATGM squads with 16 rounds, the probability that they get killed before they are able to use all the rounds is too high, ok this RL in game they have a 50% kill ratio that mean 8 vehicles, a little bit too much IMHO; so or we put one specialist per squad or less rounds and anyways limited range, FAC because is calling strikes but whatever other definition suits me untill is clear we are talking about the same thing

A couple of thoughts: ATGMinf-> it's too jolly good but these missiles are more of a TOW that a RPG so they should be reduced in number/range and the power of the jet pack as well 'cause is not only the launcher that has more trust also the riflemen in the platoon, so they can be used in long jumps and tank drivers could be misled Sniper/FAC: split the two teams, no matter what bullet you give to the sniper is more or less useless FAC/Sapper: they should receive the increased trust jetpacks, for one they'll be more easly identified by their long jumps and given that the proposed demolition charge has a relatively short fuse they should be able to fly to safety [ March 01, 2007, 12:08 AM: Message edited by: aittam ]

  6. i'm a little whining here but an infantry squand able to blast away the point defense towers? (provided they get close enough)
  7. well we do have already the 20mm, with the atgm we are close enough to the javelin/tow infantry may be we should stop once we get the sapper/eng infantry and yes I'll cut the ATGM range at 1000m no longer
  8. with CZ you are doing a great job thanks poesel! Should say tonight game found me completly out of shape, it's just me or since 1.1.2 point defense looks much better?

    ATGM team: amazing, got killings from far away with both ammo types, but may be it's more reasonable to have only one type and limited range, anyways formidable defense/ambush thing Sniper: not so much fun, got side penetrations on paladins no killings even after 20 shots....., far more interestinf the FAC function. Thor troop transport: so far I can't imagine a situation where it'd be useful, it suffers too much from 20mm fire to bring troops too close and isn't fast enough to prefer it to one of the new hoovers; speed>>>armour in these situations paladin single rocket: great job paladin 4x76 whow may be even too much

    weird thi,g last night, other than i lost against the bots when they were carring the flag on medium light vehicles they were invisible, i could see the flag moving but not the paladin or the shrike
  12. the only use of a sniper/scout team would be spotting for another weapon system right now, otherwise is just another kind of 20mm team

  17. yep i quote poesel and jby it's a little bare and it's a little hard to organize a proper manouvre, I like that DS are kind of sitting ducks once they are in a canyon but to defend one base is enough to wait at the bottle neck and use AAA to prevent a drop directly inside, why don't try with limited resources?

    a couple of ten minutes ago I was fragging with jung and mitra (sorry mate this is the best recollection of your nick), at the end of desert mesa, just went away and we started low dunes but: it was impossible to deploy any item, any vehicle and there was not count down.......... btw now the fire exchanges are green mon my mac

  20. yeah just noticed last night that fire exchanges are now large white pixels, i'm on a mac as well
