If CMC is something that interests you, I would go for CMAK now for a few month and when (if) CMC will be released it looks like there will be a choice available that includes CMBB in the package. Just an expectational thought -

Yes I remember, I maybe used wrong word "replace". I meant some map that show up in CMC at operational level. Some physical/political map to add beside the blocky terrain-generalized interactive Isometric map in CMC Scale about 1:500.000 - 1:2.500.000 [ October 22, 2006, 01:51 PM: Message edited by: Alter Ego ]

How will fuel be displayed tactically?

What about vehicle, recovery & repair; the operation parameters. If one or both sides/nations have none or poor vehicle recovery. And if some tanks are immobile because they are out of fuel. Will they be removed off the map just because of that, and never come back? Thats the way I think cmbb handles immobile vehicles when none or poor parameters are set. -

@Elmar Bijlsma: Isnt it most of the time only the map/scenario designer that can edit the map and change terrain underneath a vehicle? I dont think cmc either can change anything on the human made cmbb map. Some other problems may occur by this 1. Setup zones size and placement may depend on the previous battle outcome. 2. Troops seems to be placed within the zone randomly from the start, then changed the next time you play the scenario. 3. Quite hard for the designer to predict 1. and 2. All Of Them" --------------------------------------------- My experience with CMBB editor is that the AI only chooses One flag when it is advancing. If it is 1 km between the 4 flags; like in CMC it´s too long distance between the flags for the AI to care about the other 3 flags. Just a very few reached a second one. Related topic: CMC Training and Possible Problems. An unaggressive AI. (Scenario talk forum) Anyone else with similar experiences? or with no flags? Little off topic but in CMC, in each CMBB map will there be 1 or 4 v-flags? (Don´t remember) It will be the same side-effect here if it´s 4 flags. :confused: [ April 25, 2006, 03:28 AM: Message edited by: Alter Ego ]

If troops are in short of food supply or water at the operational level before a battle. Will they have the status: exhausted "no recover" when I play out the battle in CMBB?

How will the CM:SF engine model different mines? Some may jump and detonate in level with the face/head. J69? And mines that move around to avoid the crews that clear minefields! In which way will we place mines in CM:SF? -
