I'm surprised you let linksys get away with that. Remove linksys game works, add linksys it doesn't. That tech support guy's main job is to get you off the phone. You needed to say "hey a-hole, it works with your %$%$% device unplugged. Keep working on it." I'd call them back.

Bartbert, I have two accounts, my main account I created when I started the demo and a second one so I could play against a friend with new pilots instead of my high level guys. Is that an issue with the new registration process?

I vaugely recall having to use a phone to connect to the internet. I think it started with a 300 baud modem to connect to bbs's. A phone to connect to the internet and then modem became obsolete years ago if I recall correctly....

Joe, I do like your posting style. What you like, what you don't and why. I'm a wargamer since about 1975 myself and I was always the same as you, gaming to gain historical perspective and learn something....the last few years I find myself simply trying to find a game that's fun to play. This one fits the bill for me perfectly. I bought myself a copy and paid for half of a friends copy to get him to buy it for online play. I couldn't be happier. Maybe I'd have a different perspective if I had played the card game first but I haven't.
