I ordered this game without reading the fine print. I suppose that's my fault, but when I saw the simplicity of the game play and graphics, I did not suspect I would have to be connected to the internet to enjoy the best aspects of the game. Which in my opinion have to be the Campaigns. Unless one chooses to play a human opponent, you should be able to play the campaigns against the computer AI without the need of connecting to a server. After all this isn't Battlefield 2. I have a dial up connection, why should I have to tie up my phone line to play this, if you ask me or you don't, that's a major design flaw. I might have passed on paying $43 bucks for this had I known about the must use internet clause. And before anyone says get in the 21st century and purchase a broadband connection, again, it shouldn't be neccessary for such a graphically simplistic pc game. I haven't got the game yet, it should be coming in the mail any day now, so maybe I'm complaining prematurely, but I don't see it that way. Also, it looks as if it would've been quite simple to design your own campaigns if the designer had stopped to think of putting a design your own campaign editor into the game. Doesn't everyone see that DIF screams for that? I mean how tough would it be to design those simple looking maps, choose whatever planes and missions you want etc.{From a larger library of planes to choose from then there are currently}. Then you'd have a great game with lots of replay value!
