Why yes ... I find that the normal sized legal pads are simply not large enough to document the transgressions of the lesser lights here and the photo of my father and grandfather (both Railroad men in West Texas) occupies a place of honor.Originally posted by Joe Shaw:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by stoat:
...{snipped to save precious, non-renewable and Middle Eastern controlled bandwidth} ... I take it then that your maxi-pads are fine and the picture of your two fathers is still in its frame?
May I presume that you post a photo of a petrie dish in a place of honor?

I haven't checked in on it recently, but that thread certainly belongs in this forum because it has to do with the game.Originally posted by BCW:How about this gentlemen...and how is for example "Learning to fly: my experiences with air support" more related to CMAK.
As for your sillyness, I have my money on Emrys.

Not at all. But it was a sub-to-sub sinking.Originally posted by Baron:The Tang isn't really relevent is it? It did manage to sink itself. Now that is something I'd like to see happen is SC2

They'll get across just fine. Don't expect them to do it quickly, though.

Oops. There is something called CM:Normandy which will mod terrain and buildings. I've bumped it.

Are they resurrecting him or impersonating him?Originally posted by MrPeng:I'd like to call your attention to infernal varmints attempting to resurrect hitler.

Who is "Jaun?"

Bump for Los.

There is something called CM:Normandy which will mod everything from vehicles to buildings to terrain. It's recommended that you apply it to a seperate install of CMAK, though. I'll bump it for you.

The Jagdpanther is available in CMAK. The King TIger, Jagdtiger, Cromwell, Pershing, and Jackson are not. But John is very right in that the available forces allow for scenarios based on the fighting in Germany, France, and the other countries in NW Europe as well as Italy.Originally posted by John Kettler:Also, even though some vehicles aren't available in CMAK, such as the Jagdpanther,

No, if the reinforcements arrive with transport units such as trucks, assault boats, tanks, or halftracks they will arrive embarked upon those units. There is no way to control which units are embarked upon what vehicle, and no way to arrange them as you would want them to arrive.

I follow criteria?!Originally posted by Sir 37mm:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by stoat:
With Sir Sir 37mm he follows a set of four criteria:
Is it incomprehensible tripe?
Is it worth the space it's displayed on?
Will it excite Sturmsebber?
Will it make his parents weep in shame?
If the answers are yes, no, HELL YES, and yes he posts it.
I once knew a fellow called stoat,
He really was a prick,
I know this doesn’t strictly rhyme,
But I don’t give a ****.
You see?
That cannot possibly excite Sturmsebber… though it probably qualifies for the other criteria.

stoat, your latest entry is pushing it. Editing might be a good idea if you'd like to ever be promoted. </font>Originally posted by rleete:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by juan_gigante:

Though he may have the mental capacity of a six-year old, Sir 37mm is a Knight of the Pool, and you are but a serf. While I would never think of telling you to not insult him or some such nonsense, at least get your facts straight. Sir 37mm is from Merry Old England, not the land Down Under. I suppose this means he hasn't got an excuse, though. </font>Originally posted by juan_gigante:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by stoat:

What kind of equipment?

I liked how he posted the same link twice, followed by mostly the same commentary twice. Wasn't that the trademark of the dude on Wiki?

Overall CMBB seems to have more "polish." CMAK has had a tendency to be a bit buggy. On the other hand, CMAK has better graphics. CMAK also has the benefit of having terrain from two different continents. The contrasts of fighting in thw wide open desert and the hilly wooded Italian terrain makes it seem like two games.

I've had bear sausage before. It was delicious.
Albanian Front / Greek Mods?
in Combat Mission - Scenario Talk
Posted
Someone started a massive Greek modding project, but hasn't been heard from in a long, long time. I recall stumbling across a Greek scenario or two in the Scenario Depot salvage files at cmmods.com. They're under CMAK. I don't remeber what the names of the scenarios were, and there are quite a few to dig through. Maybe someone else knows more than I?
