  1. Does this also include the staff posting defending their products from the slightest criticism?
  2. Cheers Javaslinger I have now sussed it and got it working
  3. I didn't have a programme which allowed me to set the bit rate pcm etc. My man Mord has done it now so all good
  4. No one disagrees that they are busy although, as I have already noted, they are that busy but always find time to answer post's about purchasing and to react post's that criticise the game What they could do though is be a little more informative with the rank and file of this site all 34,000 of us.
  5. What surprise I have W7 anyway I am using sound files which were originally in .smf format. I have managed to convert them using a handy converter called SMFConvert to .wav files but they still do not seem to work when I place them in game. I renamed the newly converted .wav files to american casualty 0, 1, 3, etc. I then removed your casualty sound files and placed them in your mod folder 'immersive voices' folder inside the casualty folder. I started the game and let the GI's get slaughtered but it just seems to revert to the vanilla voices.. cheers Mord ps I think these voices mixed in with yours could increase the variation of voices and phrases. pps I have a whole stack of voices,American,Brit,Canadian phrases, aircraft flyovers, sirens, bells etc etc and ambient noises but they are all in this annoying.smf format
  6. No worries GAJ I have it working now mate, and have sent requests vbfg to accept sharing of the folders.Waiting on him to see if he can get it going at his end cheers
  7. Just to be clear..in the drop box should there be a separate folder for each different game? or one mother folder where all game files should go?
  8. It's weird :-? we managed to get another game going and it is working correctly, but the 1st game which is just getting interesting is refusing to play ball. Thus, we are still copying the game files into drop box manually
  9. Cheers akd what exactly should the parameters be please?
  10. Have checked the codec info on one of the files, this is it..... 0x0011 (DVI ADPCM) 22050Hz 89 kb/s (1 chnl) .wav 124 KB (127,876 bytes) bits per sample 16
  11. No thanks too controversial for many
  12. What is the problem with actually saying what to expect in each module? At the moment all we get is a drip drip feed of the barest morsels. Months can go by without the slightest update, then you get one and then more months go without a word. They still haven't stated on the website what infantry units are in the CW module. If there will be any changes etc., Yet, there is all the info in the world on how to purchase it and I have noticed any question on purchasing appears to be answered very quickly. BTW I purchased CMBN and now CW, along with the CMx1 and CMSF+Brits It is the most frustrating thing about BFC.
  13. How could they? it wouldn't be BFC using them it would fans/modders etc
  14. Yeah moved the two folder completely out of the area. Mmm not sure how I would check the bit rat, sample rate. Further tips from you Mord would be helpful. Do you know of a free program that i can use to check them with? I have a ton of new sounds I would like to convert for CMBN including English voices.
  15. GAJ off topic mate, but can you check your pm's please. sorry I do not know the answer to this..actually was there even a list of improvements????
  16. hello all I have created some sound(American voices)files and have placed them in the z folder but during the game the voices and phrases are not being played. Anyone able to give me some pointers on why this might be please? the files are.wav and they are in the casualty and chatter folders. I used Mord's Immersive American Voices Mod V_1.0A. I removed both his casualty and chatter folders and replaced them with my casualty and chatter folders. Surely this should work? like for like etc....
  17. Well we won't be short on Brit voices and new phrases chaps...
  18. Fuser Have you done a sample in HD of any of the vehicles? if so, I would to have a look at it, pretty please
  19. Anyone seen Theirs Is The Glory 1946? Re-enactment of the Battle for Arnhem and Oosterbeek, using the surviving soldiers weapons and civvies that took part in OMG. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theirs_is_the_Glory by the way, do any of you UK guys have access to any weapons that were(not actual) used in the battle? The guy that does the pegasusarchive site is looking to update his site and wants to see, photo and take measurements of the type of weapons which were issued. He also wants help with the history and development of the weapons used by all sides in the Operation. I am sure this would be right up the alley of some of you grogs.
  20. I have looked about and seen photos of paras wearing berets in combat areas, obviously there a lot more wisely wearing helmets. It may not be 100% realistic but i would like to have the option or at least some wearing them ingame. If i remember correctly in CMBO the paras wore berets.
  21. I enjoyed watching that cheers Modders, would it be possible to replace the CMBN sound files with those from COH?
  22. Squadron Sergeant Major Watt, "B" Squadron, The Glider Pilot Regiment, takes aim with an American M1 carbine from the first floor front balcony of the Hartenstein Hotel
