plus the rifled gun on the challenger 2, has a cromium lined barrel and its round has a larger du dart which is also longer than the rounds used in both the leopard and abrams.

well the challenger 2 has second generation chobbam armour. and have so far not sold the rights to any other nation. Results are classified but it is more effective than chobbam mark 1 with and without uranium inserts in the new abrahms. So with equal thickness it is tougher. plus i know a few people who were deployed in iraq so i do indeed know what i am talking about. it is you flaming knives andreas and whoever who do not know what you are talking about. but hey believe what you want to believe.

dunno. fully updated t-55's or a leopard for that matter is massivly outdone in a fire fight by a challenger 2. and for that matter proably the ltest abrahams too.

games workshop charge alot less than the vast majority of places. certainly alot less and i mean alot less than farsa and co charged for battletech stuff. yes it would be fun and would make a good fit. there was a half decent turn based strategy game, but they forced it to be hex based so it sucked.

depends on the t-34 i think? maybe im wrong but im sure that many did not have radios until late war though.

i have a read a few fireing tests. 17 pounder apcbc v panther rarely penetrated its glacias at any range but second hits usualy penetrated up to 800 yards. even with hits outside of the cracking. in this test us 90mm ap caused 15 inches of cracking at 1500 metres. so its not uber major but it is kinda important for gun v tan armour balance issues. plus there is an element of realism.

and plate cracking dont forget the plate cracking!!!!. its a major point!
