never use a corps to defend malta with ,that xp on the italian BBs can be lethal l8r on,and its a waste trying to with a air unit.Best hold it till Germany moves enough firepower down to threaten to take it then op the air back to UK,or better still if you can afford to send down the french air and let it take the punishment later.

HO2 is a pile of **** really...wanted to like the game so much i stuck with it for 2 long (same as i did with HOI1) but so much happens at times u think your at work instead of trying to play a game.

and patton was a good commander but he always worked under that awesome air cover that all US generals had (intital battle of the bulge days was the exception).Now would he have taken the crimea,with a corps against 6 soviet armies? doubt it ........

i think that no general apart from manstein should be above 7 in the game.no uk/usa general could have withstood the eastern front 42-44.Zhukov was an average general that happened to be a hell of a bully (and had stalins approval on just about everything he did by 1942 unlike german generals).Look at what he did in the battle for berlin,using searchlights,then a tank attack up a 100 foot height,only came off because of the 14-1 tanks 5-1 advantage in infantry he had.Now manstein was a master in all forms of warfare,attack ..defence . ,air-ground ect.Thats why he was the only german FM that the allies listened to post 1952 when the modern west german armed forces where getting up to speed.To be honest the most underated commander in WW2 was model ,he always was shoved into a disaster zone and most of the time achieved wonders,the only FM that could disagree with hitler time and time again,pity he was a blinkered nazi at the end tho.

no, there are actually no ways to secure it It doesn't even matter if you allow the download or issue the CD/DVD. What can be done, can be undone. lol at rambo,if the germans are overated how come they nearly took over all of europe.Tactics they developed in ww2 are still in use today(i know coz i was taught them)...USA starts weak in ww2 because all their might was in the pacific on ships and garrisons ,they had fk all army/air to speak of at the outset(they soon made that up mind u lol).Back to the original post ,its rommel v patton ,both had weaknesses but in general rommel was a far superior commander and he didnt go about slapping his shell shocked troops (which was the most disgracefull incident from any allied *leader* in WW2).I would love to see how paton would have coped with no air power,dwindling supplies and manpower and erratic high command,.... ... started polishing his pearl handled revolvers so as to end it all with a clean gun ?

once its installed and patched to 1.7 u can burn the whole dir to a cd and copy it back again if ur Hard drive goes ect ect

patton was a hothead,the best armoured general of an below average allied bunch.He never fought a battle in WW2 agaisnt the odds that rommel did,so was never tested to the extent that the axis generals where.To be honest tho i think rommel is a possible 7 as he never was on the eastern front and that was the real test.

i just tried it in a hotseat game with a m8,its very hectic trying to get over france as he nearly had the whole of eastern and northern france full of corps + uk air ,axis is bled dry too much before ussr i reckon...... (didnt finish game due to france losses)
