  1. Thanks for the kind words.. Now it's just to continue with the "new" stuff
  2. Hi, for a while there has been a CMAKdb. It is a DB with a PHP frontend, created with the help of Chris excel charts. And in an discussion in the CMAK forum there was a wish to get the same for BB. And now it's finally "finished".. Well it's an ongoing work, but now I think it has reach usable at least I hope that you find it useful.. CMBBdb Regards Folke [ January 08, 2005, 08:25 AM: Message edited by: folke ]
  3. What about a collab site like a wiki? Where all members can edit and create an online "cm encyclopedia" or sumfink?
  4. Updated with the new data from Wolfe.
  5. Thanks for those words, junk2drive. Yes I am working on updating the db with the new au data. I think that it will be finished tonight. If not "work at work" comes in between..
  6. Well now the db is updated to v1.03. Thanks to Wolfe for the great work collecting the data.
  7. Can I use some of your thought about HQ units and AT guns, as tips on the cmakdb site in the support categories? It's great for the inexperienced user (like me) to get this kind of info
  8. Thank you guys who makes the site alive! And I plan to let i live until the community don't needs it any more. I wrote some todo stuff in the suggestion forums. But for the moment I relax and plays some pbem's  But soon the development shall pick up speed again. There are some new stuff that Chris has looked up that shall be converted into the db. And the arty delay shouldn't be so much work. (if we only stated for Regular units) i guess. Perhaps I could put a form up for the cost that all who want's send in the cost for the units. I think that it is doable, but I don't know if there is any interest out there to help out with the values? You know, (Swedish saying): "Många bäckar små blir till en stor å" If there is interest for that, I will immediately start on that script.
  9. Humm, this thread is starting to be quite long Well I trying to keep up to Wolfes exellent work with the excell charts. But some more functions has been added. Now we can write comments on both countries and categories. And now you can discuss you favorite or worst units to.
  10. Thanks. I'm working on some filtering with dropdowns in the search page. I think that there is going to be something like that over there. For the time being try to search for the name in the search box. If you search for : mort fo you get all the Forward Observers Mortars for example. The search syntax isn't case sensitive.
  11. Oups, is was me testing a comments script for countries and categories. But at the test site I connected to the live db Well it's fixed now. And, Thanks for all your screen shots and comments!
  12. That's just the thing I looked for! I now stand with my "silly hat[tm]" on for not looking enough The proving grounds reference is the place to use.. Thanks GJK.
  13. Is there any interest to have a link page for us CM gamers. There everyone can suggest their links. And build a big library for all sorts of links. Like Historical documents, modeling, vehicle specs, cm links and so on.. I modified a script and uploaded it on a server. The url is => cmlinks.jemian.com . If there already is such a page I'm sorry to bother you with this one to
  14. The date filter should be doable, but "best tank plus gun to counter best enemy tank at date". Can you elaborate that a bit. And, of course our games is priority
  15. Site updated. Wolfe has done some updates on the Excel charts. Same updates on the site.. The only thing that isn't done yest is the ROF.
  16. Thinking of starting (again) with the "advanced" search stuff.. Some thoughts: Guns -> (units with xx/Lxx gun) Armor -> (units with armor more than xxx) etc.. Any suggestions there?
  17. Thanks for all the comments and all the help by this community. The eagerly awaited compare script is finished. I hope that i will function the way I thought A few db issues fixed as well.
  18. Valentine updated. And together with that I saw a few more errors. There are 3 57mm 57/L50. 57mm AT Jul43 57mm AT Sep43 Valentine X And now I checked against CMAK again and now it should be correct. Thanx for the note.
  19. If you would you could post them on the gallery on my site. Yes it's the Tiger 131 that was restored. Pretty impressive piece of machinery. [ October 03, 2004, 12:25 PM: Message edited by: folke ]
  20. Are there any interest to start such a page? I can put up a page at a server where we can submit links.. There are few of OSS link management scripts out there. Maybe : WebSight Edit: hrrm, should have checked that the program I looked at was Open Source. Another script selected [ October 03, 2004, 10:13 AM: Message edited by: folke ]
  21. I've searched for a similar like "Encyclopedia Of German Tanks...." for the Commonwealth.. ,but found none... Perhaps this is the best one? Any suggestions out there?
  22. I must share some photos thaken at the visit to Bovington. Great place to visit. Only wish it wouldn't be so far from Sweden.. Photo gallery A few are named, but then I runned out of "time" Btw, working on the compare thingie on the cmakdb now. It should be live in a week or so. 23. Yup. That'd be Very Very Handy. One thing that is always frustrating is not being able to reference your unit's capabilities compared to the enemy while in game. That is, having unit stats side by side for comparison. Thanks! </font>
