I just played "Marine Ambush" last night and I was curious, in the game standard Wehrmacht troops stood in for the German Marines. Does anyone have a link to an example of 1945 German Marine uniforms? Also how were they equiped? Thanks.

It's the most realistic wire Mod I've seen. I know, I've gotten caught in it a few times laying it out in the late 70's.

I didn't apply the terrain mods but looking at it with the standard terrain I do see a checkerboard pattern between the "marsh" terrain and normal grass.

Of course, in real life the enemy went around the Maginot line.

Well, I think they're virgin territory, but then you did find a Univesal Carrier in a place I wouldn't have thought of looking.

You're right. One that puzzles me, however, is the M3 White Scout car, which is also a U.S. vehicle. Combat Mission Outpost shows a pair of Winter Mods for it by Matthew Peterson that supposedly are somewhere on Combat Mission HQ. I've checked everywhere on that site and can't find it. Does anyone know what happened to them?

Visalia California, which is in that hellish Central Valley that the guys on the previous page were talking about . Believe it or not, the people that live here prefer it to the Mega City that is Southern California.

That would be great. A Pacific War sequel would be great too. I wonder, however ,would a War in the Pacific game have much appeal to other nationalities besides the Brits and Americans -and if there are any- Japanese who visit this forum?

Another new CMBO player here making his first post. I picked up the special edition two weeks ago and have to say this is my new favorite game. Why did I wait so long! I'm sure I will pick up CMBB and CMAK eventually but for the time being I am enjoying this game tremendously. Good work gentlemen! Also thanks to all the mod makers. Great stuff.
