I was going to ask you! Oh well, CMX2 will be early war and include Seelowe anyway.

Cmx2 universal tactical AI Rules.
Sequoia replied to Other Means's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
I'm sure you're aware of many instances where the orders were to seize the objective regardless of cost or lack of support, even in the American Army. -
When did they reveal that?
-
? Would that mean that the AI would learn from my own playstyle? Opponents? Or does that mean that we could customize the AI's behavior to suit a particular scenario? </font>
-
Why? I think such an ability would improve any game.

Official Patch Version 1.04 Thread
Sequoia replied to Michael Dorosh's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Yes but we're encourage by comments like this: Originally posted by Moon: Indeed, and it would be good if you start another if you like to continue. I am going to lock this now. The fact that it'll be locked doesn't mean that your suggestions were useless. Quite the contrary, we've found a number of interesting ideas, as usual. -
I give up Modding _Thanx for everything...

Yes, what's her name? -
I know companies don't commonly release sales figures, but I'm wondering if CMAK outsold CMBB in its first year, and if so do you think it's because the Combat Mission consumer (excluding Germans and Poles) prefers to play a game with his own country in it, or would that be only total speculation on sales reasons?

Oh no! Ari, thanks for all the wonderful mods. You'll be greatly missed. Is the anyway I can talk you into one more? It's the Ostwind. All you'll need to do is the top as, which I'm sure you're aware, shares the chassis with the wirbelwind. Right now it looks funny with a weathered chassis and plain top. Pleeeese. -
Is this one of the "goodies" Madmatt alluded to?
-
So is the information Michael Dorosh gave below in the locked "The Patch Still did not fix this...... " thread incorrect? I didn't see it in the readme myself, hence my confusion. Glad to see the Panzer IIIf back. I think the guys making the Seelowe Mod were hoping for it. Quote "Flammpanzer is already back in John, check the readme." Unquote edit for name of mentioned thread.

Hello, I read that the Flammpanzer III is back in the game after 1.02/1.03. If so, can someone tell me in which timeframe they can be found please? Thanks

I use CMMOS for all the mods at CMHQ and McMMM for the rest. Works fine.

Very Groggy question on a Butchery Plt TOE

You think Andrew could make a uniform Mod for this? -

Is it in stone that there won't be any more patches? I think I remember one of the Mods saying CMAK will be supported until CMX2 comes out. -
Looking for Winterized mod
Sequoia replied to David I's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Hi David, That's the one with the skirts right? There's one by BG Bogdan dated July 14 '04 at CMMODs BB section. -

David, you're right. I went to Jan '45 and there they were. The Heer tankers were already in their winter whites in Jan '44. The SS tankers must switch over later. Thanks for the nice mod. -

These look good on my Heer troops, but I'm having trouble making the Mod show on my SS tankers. Anyone else having this problem? -
Have Blue is obviously a reference to IBM who, presumably like Microsoft, are entering the game business. Aurora, I believe, refers to the fact that Aurora are most premanant during periods of high solar activity. These periods also play havoc with radio communication. Battlefront is obviously researching when these periods occured during World War II. If a scenario takes place during one of these periods, expect slower reaction time from all units as radio communications will be poor.

Let's see if I got this right. Cruiser Mk I = A-9 Cruiser Mk II = A-10 Cruiser Mk IV = A-13 Infantry tank Mk I = A-11 (not in game) Infantry tank Mk II = A-12 = Matilda But is a Cruiser Mk III considered a version of an A-10 or early Model A-13? Thanks
-
No, I'll give it a try. Thanks

One thing I really like in CMBO is that, unlike the other games, it's never so dark that one cannot see anything on the map, including one's own units. It's really no fun playing when one can only see a lit up unit base and nothing else. In my opinion, the maps are even too dark in the other games in the dawn and dusk scenarios if there's overcast skies.
