  1. I wouldn't be surprised to find that one of the legacy bmps in bb and ak control these things. The black mortars and ft nozzles suggest the engine is looking for bmps and cant find them. Someday when I am really crazy, I will make square bmps of colour and number them for every missing number from 1 to 999999.
  2. While on the subject, kinda, where do hardcoded items get their color from? I was up close with a flamethrower and noticed the nozzle is black as if missing a bmp. Where does the green for the fuel tank come from? Or the tan for German AT shrecks or fausts?
  3. MikeyD did the grey tank and armor un-id mod and I use it, but a guesstimate tank by the game engine would be better. Such as now with a missidentified tank.
  4. I wish unidentified units would show as a unit instead of the hardcoded "gun?" "tank?" etc. All the cool mods and sometimes no view of them until the game ends.

  9. For newbies or not, BD's Finns and Italians at CMHQ, Daffy's Hungarian and Romanian at cmmods, are nice alternative winter uniforms. Daffy has a nice ww tiger now at cmmods. fwiw
  10. Unfortunately so few people post reviews we may be fretting for naught. I use the author's description more than the reviews. Sometimes if there is a bad review I will try the scen to see if the review is bogus.
  11. I playtested a battle with full FOW and knew where the enemy forces were located, but could not yet see them. My planes dropped bombs in the area of enemy forces. I still could not see them but I know they were there. So you cannot recon with planes as such, but you can guess by where the bombs and straffing go to. Meanwhile two large bombs wiped out a full platoon. Wrong side though.

  18. For Lucho and anyone else, at cmmods: The M16 and Mitchell pattern helmet covers. Vietnam NVA uniforms tan for Heer troops. Andrew Fox's tropical Italian uniform mod, renumbered for late war German troops. I added a canteen from a pic on the internet. Sorry about the goggles on CO's. Includes helmets from BFC CMBB Soviets. Color choice based on use of French uniforms, but other colors were used prior to 1967. Backup your files. Use McMMM and Chinese Korea flags and icons until I do a Nam set.

  21. If you really need it, you could open the map in the editor, hit print screen, paste it into ms paint, save it as a jpeg, then print it out in greyscale. Unless you can afford colour ink.
  22. I spent most of this morning perusing ebay for NVA and VC uniforms. Nothing was standard until 1967. I picked Andrew's NA tropical Italians for a khaki tan look for pre-67 uniforms. I modded an M16 Still working on grasses. Here is CMAK grass as brush. Unfortunately, woods undergrowth uses the same bmp.
