this may not be news to some people, but if found it interesting. i was in editor and looking for fruhlingswind. i had renamed my original scenario folder and created a new one for downloaded battles. when you click load, a window opens with the list of battles and ops. by selecting the dropdown menu, i was able to go to the other folder, and select the battle. i could then save it to my regular scenario folder.

daffy, if you get cmak, could you do winter allied arty guns? wicky style would be great.

while we wait for tom's mod, mikeyd's cmbo red brick large building and church works well renumbered for cmak. comes with damaged and snow versions. OSF buildings look good too. i uploaded the fall trees mod, see that thread. gurra and i did euro maps. lots of good nw euro battles at tpg being tested.

imo, if a designer uses one sandbag, they should do like znarf and use many. i myself have worked my way to an enemy sandbag, only to find it empty. or something on hide pops up.

show bases is in the hotkey menu when in the game. could be you need to reselect your prefered display items after install.

I uploaded fall trees and terrain for CMAK at cmmods. I figured it would be easier than explaining how to do it and where to find the mods. From the mod text. "CMAK does not have fall terrain like CMBB. This mod includes fall trees from CMBB mods by TAL, DD, SDOG, CMBB brush doodads, CMAK N.A. hedge, in terrain windows made from photos on the net and CMOutpost. I use with McMMM and DD's grass and steppe mod CMBB, Gurra's fall treebases, brush, and Autumn Fields wheat mods. If you have CMBB, try the stock buldings. The fall sky can be used if renumbered. Also try Juju's treebases and Eichenbaum's OSF open ground. Backup your files." I will do the sky if there are enough downloads of the trees. A larger pic is at my site.

one big building, in cmbb there are factories, in cmak we got sandbags instead.

i've updated my website with screenies of fall terrain in cmak using osf or dd's cmbb mods. thanks to all who give for this game.

nice work. what do you think of eichenbaum's osf buildings for western europe?

this one drove me crazy. i was playing a winter battle and this shows up as a 16. no 16s listed a cmmods. so where did i get it? at least the bmp numbers in the mod let me renumber a maxspw cmbo green and white stripe winter mod to cmak. maybe in the next life, things that share bmps will be sequentially numbered. gurra's winter mod does the 17 , but in mcmmm it doesn't show a 17. back to my cave

and if you are looking at a thread about mods, why wouldnt you have an account a cmmods? i am usually already logged in or am going to after checking for new posts here.

one thing i have had happen with hedge and bocage, if i mod it, i have to exit cmak and start again to get it to take. that doesnt happen with other mods.

i used mcmmm to install eichenbaum's osf open ground, fire, and rocks. it looks fantastic with my fall trees and juju's treebases. it really looks good on slopes. i'm no expert on euro flora, but it looks like mid usa in the fall to me. at cmmods in the cmbb section.
