  1. OK! I have posted UPDATED VERSIONS of both mine and Juju's treebases for fall and winter season. I have tested these versions and encountered no problems. And, by the way, I discovered that I had enclosed a copy of the whole mod in Juju's treebases mod. That is removed now! Download size went from a staggering 17 mb to a more reasonable 8mb. I hope this will resolve your problems. And I apologize again for any inconveniences. Regards Gurra
  2. Hi there, sorry about the problems. Rob - " Tprogressbar out of range" means that the line in the rule that tells CMMOS what bmp's should be swapped is not in coherence with the filelist name that contains all the exact bmp numbers. This is strange, since I double-checked this before uploading. I must have missed something, otherwise your filelist isn´t correct. Solution: Explore the mod and get inside the zipfiles named i.e Rule 352-xxx.zip, find the txt with the same name - make sure that the line [Files] Terrain_............... corresponds exactly with the txt file in the CMMOS folder/CMAK compartment/Filelists/.... The key here is that it corresponds. If it doesn´t, you can change either the rule or the txt file so that it does. I suspect that, unfortunately, the not corrected versions of both Juju's fall/winter tree bases and my bases slipped into the uploading process. I´m pretty sure that the problem is specifically the winter woods bases, right? The line in in the rule that handles these graphics must be [Files] Terrain_winter_woods_bases_winter_no snow.txt Make notice of the lack of underscore between "no" and "snow". If there is an underscore-erase that. If this is the case I will upload the correct ones after work, Sunday evening. Sorry for the problems. Regards Gurra
  3. Hi Rob, Mike is the one that has done all the uniform mods, so he would be the ideal person to ask. I did however take a look, and this you can try: Line 5: #! Key atf_dak_fa change to atf_dak_ol and below this change the SECOND option (the extension that follows beneath the second - #@ - from atf_dak_ol to atf_dak_fa and right under this line add atf_dak_ol Mike has more knowledge about CMMOS than me, so I trust his ways. But this is the way I should have put it in the rule, and it should work. Best regards Gurra
  4. " I played an ardennes bulge battle, light snow, with uncle tgt's ltsnogreen, the spw's fit right in with the sloppy snow terrain ". I'm glad to hear that, since Battle of the Bulge was the kind of environment I had in mind. I was planning to do the rest of the 251 series and the 250's eventually. We´ll see if time permits it.
  5. Yes, that´s about it. Thanks to Andrew TF for letting me paint on his fine halftracks. I have tried to capture that worn down and muddy winter look on these vehicles. I don´t know if I have passed the test, so feel free to critisize my work and make suggestions for the future. Oh, and by the way, you can get them at the usual place.
  6. Rob Murray, Junk2drive was right: first you need version 4.05. That one can be found under the CMBO section at CMMODS.com. Once that is properly installed and seems to work you- unzip the ruleset package into some convenient folder, i.e CMMOS 4.05 CMAK RULESETS start CMMOS and choose to install rulesets. Then you just browse to the folder where all the rulesets are and open one at a time. That should make it. I hope you work it out. Best regards Gurra
  7. Pritzl, I couldn´t agree more with you. I´ve been buisy on my own, finding solutions for a conversion. There´s a lot of mod stuff for CMBO that works pretty well. Some of it could need an ovehaul to match CMAK's graphics though. When it comes to buildings, same applies here. Tanks a lot did some very nice hi-res buildings for CMBO, and Panzertruppens Normandy buildings are fantastic, even though they don´t match the sharpness of the new graphics. If you are comfortable with any paint/image program, like PSP or PHP, you could make them a notch sharper and they fit in quite nice. Only prob though is that there is only ONE version of the buildings -no damaged version - which means, and I guess that's alright AS LONG AS IT IS FOR PERSONAL USE, that you could do these versions for yourself. It´s not super difficult but time consuming. I would find it interesting to put such a thing together as a Normandy Conversion Pack, but I must admit that I do not have the time. Good luck Gurra
  8. I uploaded wrong version of MIKEYD's RUBBLE (CMMOS)to cmmods. Please ignore this mod! An correct update will arrive in time. Gurra
  9. As mentioned already, more CMMOS mods uploaded. A few more terrain mods for the Rocks & Sand ruleset and the first ones for Road & Track. More will come... Any issues? Post here or mail me at: w-k@chello.se. Gurra
  10. When I tried installing version 4.05, all cmbo and cmbb stuff along with the CMMOS core files installed under C\Program Files\(default option in the setup) and the required CMAK folders(with filelists and so)installed under C\Program\. I chose repair and just transfered the CMAK folders over to Program Files\...and everything worked. My best wishes for Rob Murray and his parents. Gurra
  11. Can someone confirm me on this? From the little info I´ve managed to obtain, this one was on the german "drawing board" in the late stages of the war. I had never heard of it until a few days ago. It was to have the 128 mm canon that was fitted onto the Jagdtiger. I have to say it looks kind of nasty. And that is also why I have decided that the talented vehicle modders in this forum should bring us something that they could be truly proud of... My most humble regards Gurra
  12. What!? You will have to wait then. You miss a lot of nice stuff.
  13. So, the first load of terrain mods for CMMOS CMAK has been uploaded at CMMODS. Enjoy! I actually took the chance to let one of my new mods make its debut in CMMOS form - new hi-res brush. Thanks to Juju for letting me use his scattered trees "pink pattern". I will upload a conventional version of that one later. If you encounter any problems, let me know it here, or mail me at w-k@chello.se. Regards Gurra
  14. Thanks for your response, Junk2drive. Well, you´re right in doing it for oneself, first place. But it´s kind of interesting to see how people want their graphics, due to their perception of nature - talking terrain mods, that is. Personally, I have a faiblesse for subdued, earthy colours with low contrasts. I reckon others might want sparkle bright. You never know. Gurra
  15. OK. I think I made enough testament to my CM committment now. And Michael, don´t worry, there will eventually be another little fella - who looks strangely similiar to me - that will utter his first words: Dad, tanks! Gurra
  16. Good! Am I right when I think of the white winter parka as the most common winter wear for the Germans in Normandy/Ardennes? Gurra
  17. Interesting. I have a feeling you might just be right on this one.
  18. Saturday afternoon 13:00: Man drives the car(me), woman in the passenger seat(girlfriend). She´s the one to watch him doing all the right things as he´s trying to get ready for the drivers licence finale. - What are you doing?! I get nervous when you drive like this! she says. - Hey, take it easy, let me just drive in my own way! he says. They drive on for an hour, under which time the car from time to time sways a little, from left to right and back again. - What is it with you?! she says. - You drove better 6 months ago! - I´m sorry...I might just be a bit distracted, that´s all. - What do you think about?! - I just...ah, nothing. - Tell me! - Well, I can´t help study nature... - What?! - You know, woods bases, scattered trees, fences...rough...grass...it´s fascinating. STOP. I think you can all imagine the continuation of this, as she´s very well aware of my sessions with photoshop between 11:00 pm to 03:00 am. Gurra
  19. Andrew, Thanks to you! I must confess, that I took your winter mod for both Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS that you uploaded not so long ago for CMBB (maybe 3-4 months?) and tried it in CMAK for Normandy winter scenarios, or, should I say, Battle of the Bulge scenarios. But I´m not sure I actually assigned all the right bmp's at the right spot. Would it be too much to ask you to, in case of time and interest, to take a look at this wonderful work of yours and see if you could maybe organize a version for CMAK-Normandy theatre? Best regards Gurra
  20. I do already have to face her smirk across the table in the morning, making me look like a totally incompetent idiot-concerning common day stuff like being able to shop what was on the list, not miscoulor the laundry, not forgetting the important dentist appointment for the kids...and she´s not playing THE game yet, only I... Gurra
  21. Listen up, people. If you are not stuck with any other mod manager, you should really try the revamped version of CMMOS. Mike has done a terrific job. It´s good looking, well organized and there will be a continuing support with mods. Must I mention that a tremendous job has gone into this? You will not get disappointed.
  22. Well, I posted the fall version now... Could someone please enlighten me on my work? Because when one sits and work with a mod, I suspect that one looses his prespective and might not see that it isn´t in fact an improvement. Then, on the other hand, taste is kind of a personal thing. But, to wrap it up, I could need some criticism to help me improve my work or look at it differently.
