Many soldiers are spending thousands of dollars on body armor that actually works. Many modify existing gear (Not the issue stuff). If you look at many different photos of soldiers over there, you will see a variety of armor.
Here is a good site to find info on latest gear www.lightfighter.com

The Avengers are used in Middle East in convoys. The 50 cal MG and thermal sight provide protection for the trucks.

Hey, I am Russian serving in the US Army, and I dont see that happening. Mother Russia will never be conquered. Even to attempt it, you would need millions of soldiers.
They got helo's like KA-58, and other advanced stuff
Here is my vehicle. Will Avengers be in CM:SF?

I really dislike the current name, it seems cheezy. Please post suggestions of what you think would be a better name.
Combat Mission: Strike Force
Combat Mission: World Police (this one's a joke)

Yes, we always did Sagger Drills when I was still armor. Its a standard practice for a driver to be on a lookout for puffs of smoke indicating sagger launch, and then attempt do a zig-zag pattern
Hey Renaud, what unit were you in? I was in 3rd ID, 2-69 C Co in Ft Benning, GA, and 2nd ID, 1-72 C Co Camp Casey, South Korea

What will the screen look like during night engagements? Will it have green night vision hue? That would be cool
There have been tank kills( M1A1 versus T-72) over 3000 meters, but those are very lucky shots. The trigger line is normally 2000 meters, with most effective range 1200 meters
During one battle, my tank with support of a bradley platoon destroyed about a company size enemy element from a defensive position. We used alternate battle positions, all hull down. Battle took about 3 hours, it was a night, no air assets available
In another battle my company took a lot of losses from RPG gunners hiding in spider holes

So sad, but some Americans agree with you..

Average armor engagements are at around 1200 meters

I am very happy, since I am in the US Army. I love the modern equipment
-
No, without the Miles of course
-
Well, thats actually a Ranger vehicle.
Anyway, Id like to see this kind of detail for the US Army soldiers

Will these weapon systems be in the game?
-
Will there be simulation of the amputations, vehicle accidents, friendly fire and suicides?
I think about 50% of casualties are from accidents

There will be no civilians in the game, as stated earlier. Feel free to level every house and mosque. There will be no press either
Rules of Engagement

Without civilians and innocents on the battlefield there is no ROE. Every single person you see can be shot. I hate games like that. I think that takes away the realism of modern warfare. Please put civilians in the game
