I agree, I always wear my Interceptor with groin protector
-
I am sorry but I disagree. This game is exactly a platoon/company/troop/battalion commander simulator, with micro-managing options. Its doesnt have to be FPS
-
I think including UAVs in this game is critical
-
I sure hope not. That would kill this game for me
-
How is that?Originally posted by flamingknives:CM isn't a command game though.

I would never play it RTS style. The reason is why I love CM games is that they are turn-based. I like taking my time and use strategy. RTS games seem to be a click-fest, to see who clicks faster. That is lame
Id like to have a pause command, like in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. You can pause the action, give orders if you want to

Why cant we have a medic deploy from a medic Stryker automatically when you have critically wounded- as in no player control
-
The TAC AI should detect the street on the right, and tell the gunner to scan down the street. I dont want to do it myself- as a commander- for each vehicle. Thats gunner's job.
You supposed to be playing a bigger role
-
Why cant you make the tank or any other armored vehicles scan for targets automatically? I dont want to have to tell every single gunner of each vehicle how to do their jobOriginally posted by Battlefront.com:Waypoint 1 - Move, orientate turret right
Waypoint 2 - Move, orientate turret left
Waypoint 3 - Move, orientate turret right
Waypoint 4 - Stop, orientate turret center, button up

For example, if you set firing limits, the gunner can scan inside that arc automatically. That would be easier for player- less micro-management. That is a downfall of CM games

Some current news about Raven being used to hunt for insurgents
http://www.military.com/soldiertech/0,14632,Soldiertech_RavenHunt,,00.html?ESRC=soldiertech.nl
"Soldiers in Iraq began widespread use of the Raven last year. It requires line-of-sight contact, making hilltop launch sites and navigation ideal. The images captured by the small aircraft can be relayed to commanders at the tactical operations center if needed."
Please include Raven in the game

Female soldiers are hot. I like playing with them for the sex appeal
-
Have you heard about the new USMC recon vehicle? Its diesel/electric
-
That female soldier is definatly just hitching a ride, which happens all the time (loaders hatch is pretty much the only spot to put a passenger in. I had to give rides to people before (non-tankers)
It is ILLIGAL to have females in Armor branch, or infantry. I am currenty ADA, and we just got some females in my unit a few months ago after a law/doctrine change. The Army is experiencing a shortage, and they are starting to put females in more and more roles previosly filled only by guys.
I think we have a long way to go still. Over 10% of females in the Army are raped or sexually assaulted (reported)
I think some women in uniform are very sexy, but I would never rape one (consensual only)

Yep, I am buying this one without a demo- not my standard practice, I am just confident that this will be a hit. Plus I can use it as a training tool (as long as they include Avenger) Are they in?

Actually by 2015, by the Army estimates, a 1/3 of the ground and air forces will be robotic
Raven

Ive already posted a thread about this, and didnt get an official anwser. Besides modeling the UAVs, it would be nice to see UGV like the PackBot. They been used since 2003
There are smaller UAVs now, that can be carried by a platoon (In a rucksack), and there are also 40mm grenades that have wireless camera in the nose, can be launched by M203 over a hill by a grenadier.
Desert Hawk
Aladin
Mosquito Micro UAV
OAV

Do you know what Buratino means in Russian? Its Pinnocio (the wooden boy whose nose grows when he lies)

The majority of combat injuries in the Middle East are extremity amputations related to IED exploding. Will the flying body parts be modeled? Thanks

Here are some photos of Israeli heavy APC
I wander if up-armored trucks will be in the game

How many squad leaders do you know that fly around the battlefield giving orders to the whole battalion, besides their own squad?
