Haze is in the game - certainly on my nvidia based system - what graphics card are you using?

You either surf or you fight.

I agree. The reason I play WEGO is for the replays. The fact they are not "true" replays does reduce the enjoyment\usefulness of them. Will they ever be fixed or is there a technical reason they have to be like they are?Originally posted by Lurker765:While I agree that the WEGO playback bugs do not effect the overall outcome of a game they do have an impact on my enjoyment of it. Watching the replays is something I liked in CMx1. I also learned how the game worked by checking what type of ammo was used per shot, etc. All this has gone away with the replay bugs.

I would think the latter the best bet. So much extra stuff to code for beaches. The smaller scale also would make beach battles a bit weird maybe?

Surely to participate in a ladder you would need the game installed. On 21st December (3 whole weeks ago)you said:Originally posted by GSX:....I wouldn't mind joining an SF ladder with more than 6 guys on it.
Did you get a bigger hard drive for Christmas?Well Ive yet again uninstalled this game from my PC. No more installations for me now. After 6 months I just cant be arsed with it anymore to be honest. -
Of course they matter. COD 1&2 would have sold bundles more than CMX1 - because of the audience. A million copies of Kane & Lynch have been sold - despite mediocre reviews - because of the audience.Originally posted by gautrek:So the different audiences matter not one bit.

Hallelujah! I love you guys.Originally posted by Moon:For example, the forum has an "ignore" setting for other users. Their posts are then automatically blanked out. That will be cool.

Will somebody let me know the secret handshake.

Ah Reisberg...the hours I spent on that learning the game. Thanks for the good work - off to download now. Happy Holidays!

So what's changed since the 21st September? Then you said:Originally posted by GSX:Well Ive yet again uninstalled this game from my PC. No more installations for me now. After 6 months I just cant be arsed with it anymore to be honest. Nothing whatesoever in a Marine Module will make me buy it.
http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=003023;p=3#000059Totally agree. The game is OK for what it is. BF never said it would be any more. I simplu played it and moved on as I suspect its meant to be. I will see what the next module has to offer and maybe play that too.Lighten up and enjoy it for what it is and stop crying about what it isnt. If I can get round this fact anyone can, believe me.....

Maybe he means the variable endings?

Grow a pair. Merry Christmas.Originally posted by Adam1:..it just has become very tiring to deal with personal comments directed at me for my criticism about the game.

Will you be changing your name again soon?

I'm not offended at all by your opinions - I had a blast this afternoon with the game - it's playable for me. Great improvements in this version for me. Are you offended by that?
-
I guess it never will be for you. I've just played through Hammertime in WeGo for 4 hours with no issues at all. It's more than playable for me - I only meant to try out the new version for an hour and now have my wife moaning at me - good job BFC!Originally posted by Adam1:but the game is still not even playable

Mr. Eichenbaum departed these forums in a huff IIRC.

Campaigns of Napoleon by Chandler is considered THE book by many. It's big - but extremely readable. I'm about halfway through it at the moment.Originally posted by thewood:Can you recommend a good book that covers the more military side of the wars of napolean? The ones I find in the local stores in the states tend to focus too much on the grand strategy and politics.

Not only are they loud - they also repeat themselves again and again.Originally posted by Rick:Another social phenomenon showing its head here is that the unhappy people talk (or write in this case) louder than the happy people.
