No mods for me.
-
No - you will need to use a third party tool such as FRAPS.

Good question - I was wondering that too.
Enjoyable scenario - had some very intense MOUT action - ammo expediture was incredible!

Thanks - good to know it's on the radar.

A typical Autosave function would only need one file - overwriting each time. It would need to be optional though as the save time may be annoying to some.
I'm having to manually save each turn in 1.06 in case of a crash. Up to 1.05 I only ever saved when taking a break.
I have a save file in the link that Mord posted that crashes every time and for others. Is anybody looking into the crashing issue?
-
Mord - I tried your file again and let it run to the end - and got the crash.
-
-
Hmmm...I tried that savegame Mord and had no crashes.

1.06 - new game - BFC version - also WEGO - I have a save file which crashes to desktop by just pressing red button every time. First time this game has ever crashed for me. XP 7800GT .
I've tried to play two scenarios now with 1.06.
First one I bailed out of after a squad got stuck in a building and would not move out.
Second has this crash problem after reloading save and clicking red button.

Yes you have. By now they will have dispatched Magnum to hunt you down.Originally posted by Other Means:Hawaii, where Steve & Charles have their secret...I've said too much.

It appears to be ready to finalize and do all the magical non-gameplay things that need to be done before releasing it to you guys. My guess, and PLEASE... it's only a guess, is that it will be ready for Monday late in the day US time. It's so hard to peg the exact time it will go out, especially because of coordinating with a partner that is in a very different timezone.
If you don't hear anything to the contrary before then that's our planned for release time. If for some reason we miss that window it won't be far off. Weekends can sometimes slow things down more than we would like because about a half dozen people in two different parts of the world have to do things to make patches happen. One of the less fun things about game development in a virtual workplace.

Welcome back! Your first post in 7 months - how we've missed you. I take it from the content of your post that those months have not been spent on anything remotely intellectual. You seem as dense as ever.Originally posted by Kellysheroes:Have to say this, but, only fools would upgrade to Vista at this time or even buy a new computer with it in it. It has so many bugs and flaws it's rediculous. I have no symphathy for anyone who gets Vista on purpose. You've read the horror stories about it so why did you do it? I will not move from XP just like I did not move from WIN98 until it is no longer supported. There is no reason to upgrade from WinXP just because of Directx 10?? haha there's like nothing out there that even uses it that is worth getting or having it yet for. Some people are like the mice in the story of the pied piper they will follow anything because someone else did. lol

Or early.

I don't seem to use half as many waypoints in the new game as I did in the old. I thought I would really miss adjusting waypoints but I don't seem to.
It seemed more important with the command delays in CMX1 I guess.

Camelbak?

Personally I find the UI better than CMX1 in many ways - which is good enough for me. The lack of mousewheel in CMX1 is a killer when I go back to it.

Where have they said this?Originally posted by M1A1TankCommander:You can continue to say "they just dont get it", and not working to fix it after months and months after release.
Have you read the BFC responses in this thread?

Excellent - thanks for the links.

Not telling you to anything - just suggesting modifying the hotkeys might help you out. No unzipping required - just edit a file in notepad and save it.Originally posted by c3k:So, Melnibone, you've told me to dig into a file and edit it to configure my hotkeys. That doesn't help. It doesn't help the neophyte, it doesn't help the computer USER who doesn't know how to unzip a file, it doesn't solve the problem of a clunky (at best) GUI. It is a workaround.
It would be nice if there was an in-game interface to edit the keys. By the way - no need to SHOUT.
-
Until they become memorised you could try tattooing them on your hand.Originally posted by c3k:Melnibone,
Thanks. Now, other than MEMORIZING my personal hotkeys, how do I do that? Meaning, how do I know what keys do what?
Or..the graphical tabs do update with the new key assignments to help you out.
