  1. What makes up the game:

What was added with CMSF Marines:

    1. New vehicles.

    2. Marines.

    3. New weapons.

    4. New maps.

    5. New scenarios.

    6. A new campaign.

The new campaign was actually a broken campaign that was not fixed for months. I must have missed the official apology for that.

  2. You have to cut BFC some slack.

I've been doing that for a long time. Why should I do it for ever? When will the the USMC campaign be fixed? Where was the quick patch to fix it? In this thread a beta tester said it would be fixed quickly - that was October 14th. It's still for sale and it's still broken.

  3. I think it's been long enough guys. Paid my money in October for this. Patience and goodwill starting to wear a little thin now. It would be nice to have the ability to play the Marines campaign to a proper conclusion. If it's taking this long to fix the campaign why was it released in the first place? Since the initial release of CMSF I've spent more time waiting for patches than actually playing. I've given up on 1.10 because the vehicle pathing drives me crazy. I'm eagerly waiting the Brit module. But rationally I'm starting to wonder why you deserve that from me. It's not good enough to say it will be ready when it's ready. My money was ready at launch for USMC and I expect a quicker fix for a defective product. How can it take 2 months to fix the Marines campaign? Where are the info updates on progress and eta for those who have bought it and would like to finish it?

  4. 30+ hours in with no issues on my PC version - not one crash.

Playing in first person mode does have it's disadvantages. Sold mu Combat armour by mistake without realising it. Fighting through a Raider base I kept thinking these guys are tough - switched into third person view to find I was fighting them in my underwear!

  5. In that last scenario I began with two tanks, one which had no targeting system. One quickly got immobilized and operated as stationary piece. Luckily it was a good spot. With only one moving tank, the TOW humvees came into their own. They tore the crap out of the counter-attacking Syrian force. Ended the battle with no TOWs left, and only 1-2 rounds of AP on the tanks. Whew!

No tanks, one TOW humvee with no ammo. My two Javelin teams were busy boys! Ran out of Javelins. The last T72 had it's track blown off by grenades as it threatened to run amok. That squad deserved medals. Posthumously I'm afraid.

  6. Finished the Marines campaign last night with a minor victory. Tactial defeat in the last battle. Who ever designed "Debouche to Disaster" deserves a place in hell.:D

No spoilers but that was a humdinger! Survival became my target. Some very memorable events occurred throughout the campaign. Thanks to all the campaign builders for their efforts.

  7. P4 3.2

    XP SP3

    2 GB RAM

    8800 GT 512MB (178.13 drivers)

Similar problem on Pooh and Milk Run as you guys. Terrible slow down and several "Out of Memory" crashes. Never had any issues as bad as this in earlier versions of the game. This version is the first it has ever crashed for me. Reducing settings lower has no effect in reducing the problems. very frustrating. Anybody looking into this?
