YES!!! To the 251/22...thank you for including this vehicle...😍

and how can you say the jagdpanzer IV L 70 (A) ugly????>!!! its my favourite vehicle! lol

My wife has three good looking sisters. None of them is as beautiful as my wife. In her presence they all look average and plain. I guess it's the same with the Jagdpanzer IV L70 and the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (A). 😀

This comments pertains to formation(s) that aren't in the game yet. Full formation(s) that aren't in the most recent beta build at all. That's a good sized thing but not as big as it might sound (that's why I estimated 90% and not 50% or somefink).

Am I correct when I say this is the part of the module which is 'outsourced' to people 'outside' BF? I remember you or Steve mentioned something like that some time ago. Could be wrong though. Perhaps I'm using the wrong terms, but I do remember that it was part of the reason why a release date was hard to predict.

hat is the fun bit. Once we start seeing these new formations, discussions about what should or shouldn't have been placed in them take place by people who know a scary amount about things like squad head counts, exactly what weapons each member of a unit should have, ammo counts, pouches in a uniform, you name it. The testers debating these things, and members of this forum who aren't, constantly amaze me with their knowledge. The longer I've been around this the deeper I go down the rabbit hole. Somefink like how many SMGs are in a squad and how many rifles. It affects how the unit behaves in battle. Sometimes I'll play "well, here's a squad. Let me move them in" and sometimes I'll play "I'm sending this squad in because they're carrying x, y and z and that's what's needed in this situation"

Yes, I can imagine that's one part of the process which is difficult to estimate with regard to how much time it will take. Tiresome, but necessary. Personally I would like to see the option that Volksgrenadier units have (much) more StG 44's and G-43's than other German units, so I hope that will be taken into consideration too. A long time ago we had a thread about this and I posted some evidence that the StG 44 was more common towards  the end of the war  than normally assumed, especially at the Eastern front. Anyone who ever tried to clear out a Soviet PPSH squad out of a building or forest with a German rifle equipped squad will know what I mean. 🙂

I hope gives a better idea of what I meant.

I think it does. Thanks for that.🙂

If I were to guess? 90% There's a big group we haven't seen yet. Once that's in it comes down to arguing about what's right or wrong. :-). Rather than waiting for things to be added. If that makes sense.

Not sure, but it sure sounds good. 🙂

Are we likely to see a stug iv soon? Feels wrong not having it.

It should be in, I agree. But I don't expect the module before the autumn of this year. Don't have a clue though, so don't take that seriously.Really hope I'm proven wrong. 🙂

Thanks, Freyberg! I keep trying new stuff so it’s good to hear the style and appearance (which is unique once again) is visually pleasing.

Thanks. If you start smelling things while reading then I did something right; it is supposed to feel rather close to the ground and action. (Hence the very rare aerial shot).

I often think how well CM is suited for illustrating some/certain books about the fighting in WW2. Especially considering the fact there's are so few good action shots. Books like the Visual Battle Guides by David Porter for instance would be ideal to use CM screenshots.  David Glantz or Douglas Nash Sr less so of course. One can also think about tactical guides etc. This AAR once again shows how detailed such guides could be made by skilled people like Bud.

Valley of the Immortals was a great one - made even more exciting because it was a two-parter. I just finished The Voronov Plot and was amazed at how politically astute it was.

Thanks for explaining the quote. You're right, it is applicable to life. :)

As a dedicated Blake and Mortimer-fan (own all of them and reread them every year) I must say that Voronov Plot is one of my favorites. Not all non-Jacobs strips of Blake and Mortimer are good, but this one certainly is one of the best.
