All true. But the development of Fire and Rubble has been a very troublesome one, with a lot of delay and radio silence. And human as I am I've lost my patience and good manners on several occassions. With two new products in the pipeline it's easy to forget how the frustration and impatience came about. All in all I think the development of Fire and Rubble is an example of bad communication and agonizingly slow progress. All water under the bridge now, but there are lessons to be learned here and not just by a short tempered, greedy forum member like myself.

I don't think the war would have dragged on for another year. The Western Allies would have reached Berlin first. If the attack in the Ardennes had been cancelled AND the counteroffensives in Hungary too the war might have dragged on longer, but perhaps some months, not a year.

I said 'clever', not 'flawless'. At least he was ashamed of it.

The Lions are hunting. Yes, I still think it's one of the best maps/scenarios ever. And I do play it a lot. Perhaps I will finish it and release it when Fire and Rubble comes out. Not sure, might not be to everyone's taste, although Earl Grey liked it and that's high praise! You're right, the best is yet to come! Winter is coming!

We missed you. Remember we both worked on that scenario? You made the map with the different heights for me.

Btw it would be grand to have a winter version of the Finn mod, Kohlenklau.

It is. The appearance of the T-54 (or T-44?) is well described and very interesting to read though. And I like the element of espionage in Gee's book. Congrats with 2000 upvotes.

I remember we had this discussion before. But I think you're being too harsh. I've read them all and although I agree that not every chapter is of the same high quality, for me it's still one of the best series in this genre. And I've had my share of unfinished fictional books. Colin Gee knows his stuff and makes few if any mistakes describing battles, weapons and tactics. That's rather unique to my experience.
