  2. I cant prove it but I think it started with the installation of CMAK,anyway you cant here any tank movement sounds in CMBB only.Anyone here of this?

Major bug to me anyway,unit bases disappear on roads, this was in cmbb, not in cmbo.Also in CMAK, but in addition to that unit bases can not be seen on the 1st flr of all light 2 stry bldg.Once they move to the upper flr, the unit base is once again visible.None of these things were present in CMBO.
  4. Dorosh, Its not the bases are harder to see, I cant see them at all under the conditions I mentioned.BFC, why have unit bases if you cant see them?

Ok in CMBO the unit bases worked fine, they never disappeared.In CMBB they disappear on roads on any veiw above 5 and views 6,7,8 and 9 are where you really need the unit bases ,not a major problem , I lived with it.Well now in CMAK the problem extends to roads and the 1st flr of all 2 story light bldgs.This cant be my machine because I dont have any problems with 1flr light bldgs or 2 stry heavy bldgs.When the unit moves to the 2nd flr in a light bldg it is then visible, this only happens on views 6,7,8,9 and thats when you have to see the base.I was playing a tcp game that was loaded with 2 stry lght bldgs and it was a real pain,I had alot of units to keep track of.Yah I know just draw the blue box around your units and then you will be able to find them.Takes alot of time and I shouldnt have to do that, I didnt have to do it in CMBO, why should I have to do it now. Does anyone have the same complaint and or the solution?
  7. I thought i would reply to my own post since its embarrasing when it gets ignored. I could'nt agree more with legend42's music comments.

I know its along way off but I figured this is the time that the "BFC crew" might listen to what I have to say about the music in the game.First of all music is just dressing and always secondary to game play, but none the less it adds heart and immerses you into the feeling of WW2.Immagine any of the CM titles without music, I know, not a good feeling.My suggestion would be to have the intro music not end until you select your forces and then once you select your forces and are in your country's purchasing screen, that country,s national anthem or eqivalent would play until your done purchasing the units.Imagine Panzerleid playing as you pick out your German forces or the Soviet Anthem as you pick a pltn of T-34's.I know its minor vs other issues but sound and music are an important part of a game.

  10. sodball, if you mean the map edges friendly too section, ive tried every combination, nothing turns the axis or the allies in the right direction, as far as the attacker comes from direction, i dont see that on my screen

Kestrl your missing the point, goto the scenario editor delete all the units from Knifefight at Cecina and import that map into a qb.Then look at how they are facing, its all backwards, thats not normal,the defending bunkers should be facing me, not away from me, teat it yourself and see, im not saying its a bug,im saying what am I doing wrong?

Unless Im doing something seriously wrong,I went into the scenario editor and deleted all units from the scenario "Knifefight at Cecina" because I loved the map.Changed the set up zones so the allies are attcking from the west into the town.Gave the axis most of the town and beyond.So I select qb,allied attck, and import the map and let the comp randomly select forces.But for an unknown reason the allies always face the west to begin(they should be facing east since they are attcking east),the axis should be facing west but they are not they are facing the east and they are setting up like the attck is coming from the east with minefeilds out in front and bunkers facing the wrong way and so on.Ive experimented with all the params and friendly sides and so on and cant make this work.Ive done the same thing with the scenario "The Ridge" and have had no problem, everything faces the right way.However I have had the same problem with "The Grand Blvd" quick battle map.The thing in common with both maps that I cant get the axis to face the right way is the maps are east to west attacks.The Ridge is south to north.What the hell am I doing wrong?
  13. I altered one of the maps in the game so I can use it for my own qbs.The problem is all the units are facing the wrong way,both sides.I know there must be a simple answer to this.
  14. I read where moon likes to play qbs against the ai on imported maps with a point disadvantage and no flags.I understand everything except the elimination of the flags.What does that do and how does it enhance the game?

Someone please explain why a routed unit will sometimes run towards the enemy into a hail of bullets and certain death.I understand routed units running and dispersing in chaos away from the enemy, not towards it.Also why would the ai have a unit taking fire "sneak " to a less safe place, like towards a crest increasing exposure to itself?
  16. Ive experieced the same thing when I altered the tutorial map.There are bldgs on the map editor that do not show on the real game map.

Ive noticed 2 faint small black "thread-like" lines on my monitor, 1 about 3" from the top and the same about 3" from the bottom,I think they just started recently because I would have noticed them before.On Italy backgrounds they are there but not prevelant.On the desert senarios where everything is white they are very prevelant.Is this the begining of the demise of my monitor or is it fixable?
  18. non cdv version , purchased in usa, 2nd cmak tcip game there were no problems, maybe an isolated inccident,very strange after hundreds of cmbb tcip amd no freezes
  19. This was a problem before I believe with cmbo and the patch fixed it.Never had one freeze with cmbb. This needs to be looked at.

There is so much more to explore and enjoy here, and some of you guys are worrying about re-creating cmbo battles,this is not cmbo,in alot of ways this cmak game is so much more diverse than cmbo,enjoy it.No Pershings or King Tigers,I guess you'll just have to learn tactics on how to kill armor without them.You really dont have a choice , do you?
