I was reading about The Battle of The Bulge movie in the Cmak forum and it got me thinking why hasnt there been a movie about the greatest tank battle in history?Kursk.I know its not a mainstream war topic, but niether was Cross of Iron and that got made.You would think that some russian producer would have made something about this.What a great topic for a movie and an awsome undertaking it would be.It could be done today more accuratley than ever in the age of computer graphics.
  2. Unit bases that dissappear on roads and upper flrs of light buildings. In CMBB it was just roads, CMAK , roads and upper flrs of light bldgs In CMBO these things did not occur at all.Bases did and do not dissapear. Now I have purchased all your games and bought all your books.I would appreciate if someone of authority would address this issue.Every time I have brought this to the table it is ignored.
  3. lets get back to the topic, why does bfc goto great lenghts to expertly represent all major weapons on the eastern front(even small weapons like the russian at rifle look great), but then fall well short of the expectations that they created on things like the russian 85mm aa gun and the german grille which is graphically the wespe?Did they run out of time?money?gigabytes?I dont understand.

If the first module of cmx2 is not ww2 based I will be very upset.It makes perfect sense to re-visit the western-front,its the most popular of all war game fronts.BFC knows this and they are a business.It would be foolish to have CMX2 Korea or the civil war, I would love to see cmx2 Vietnam in the future.
  6. Why does the Ai on defense run from perfectly good defensive positions into the open on suicide attacks towards the attacker?If the units just stayed in their foxholes or positions it would make attacking the Ai much harder, and the game more enjoyable.
  7. yes, I noted it in the patch thread well prior to the 1st patch and nothing was done, just wondering if something will be done since cmx2 is so far away.

  10. the ability for crews to leave there vehichles and scout over a crest before the afv or vehicle has to crest it on its own,and then get back into there vehicle, no smart co would ever crest a hill without checking it out

  15. I know the ones I see have no effect, the question is what does the AI "see"?Does the AI see the olive green tank as white for spotting even though I see olive green?
  16. For an example, when you see an olive green american tank, it is rather easy to spot in a snowy atmosphere.Does the AI assume it is camaflouged in snow for spotting even though we see a green tank?

You can't blame this guy for his criticism of the "blocky graphics".This guy reviews many games and sees the most up to date graphics available on all of the latest games.His criticism is relative to those other games of outstanding graphics regardless of game play.I personally have no problem with the graphics and CMAK is the best yet, but us "CM guys" are a different breed.We love realistic and historical gameplay,acurate data, and information.Then down the list of priorities is graphics.But we're not like the rest of the gaming community.We are in the minority.The rest of the world puts high emphasis and priority on graphics.BFC is smart enough to realize this and if they want to capture a larger market of consumers they will make the appropriate visual improvements.State of the art grahics is good for everybody,even the chart loving data freaks like myself(everyone likes eyecandy),it will increase the amount of dollars for BFC,with those dollars they can produce better games for all.Remember, a finely tuned Mercedez will not sell without an excellent paint job.
