  1. how do you find out if there smg sqds from a distance?you only know when they are right on top of you.

I was playing a pbem and I just gave a large human wave command to about a company supported by as much covering fire as I had.When I viewed the turn just now the entire company ran to there destination, they did not carry out there human wave order which I know I gave to them.Did the AI change my command?What happened?Buy the way they suffered about 75% casualties.

Matt, horizon was set to unlimited, it still did it,im positive this is a performance issue from my computer, I just dont know how to fix it.Something happened in between the time I purchased CMBB and now, like I stated when I first recieved CMBB this was not an issue.The buildings were all there and never dissapeared no matter what angle or distance I was vewing them from.

When I first played CMBB on large town setting I could see all the buildings no matter at what distance or angle, recently I have noticed on this setting large portions of the town dissapear at long veiw distance, as I scroll forward towards the town the buildings re-appear, closest ones first, like a domino affect , when im real close to the town I see all the buildings withouy any problem.I have Nividia Ti 4600 graphic card. How do I fix this?

Ive been playing this game since the infant days of cmbo, now with the close release of CMAK there have been many remarkable changes and upgrades for the positive,the CMAK graphics look even better, while playing a recent game of cmbb I came to the conclusion the graphics are too clean and too bright in an unrealistic way.The colors need to be toned down about 25% or more towards grey, this goes for everything,especially uniforms where the men look they are marching in parade just coming off of inspection.The uniforms need to be totally washed out with grey and dirty to give the appearance of some to heavy combat.Anyway color is my business and thats the way i see it.And dont suggest the real color mod, while it is an improvement its not good enough.

  11. aka tom, your correct about the cheating issue and I dont think that could ever be overcome and probably while we will never see such a feature,its just a wish,I'd much rather see all of the other top priority issues get into CMX2,I'm already parnoi about cheaters and cheating,imagine what that feature would do to my paranoi state of mind. ps When cheaters die they should be condemed to play a gameboy for eternity.

Are there varying degrees of hull down status or just one hull down status that the ai uses to determine the to hit chance and/or penetration calculations.For isntance, if you are on top of a crest and hd to the target you can be (at least visually)somewhat hd vs. very hd and still have a los to the target.I've seen some tanks be about 50% visual to the target and some be nothing more than a spec barely visual to the target.The question is does the to hit chance against you decrease as your hd% rises?or is there just one hd category?
  13. "Opens all doors for cheating" I totally agree and that would be the biggest stumbling block,I'd much rather see full movie replay at the top of the priority list as well.

My wish would be the ability to tap into a tcip game as a live 3rd party ghost.The "ghost" could move around the entire map with no restrictions seeing everything on both sides with no fow regardless of what fow setting was on.The purpose would be for entertainment and learning the game.I know I would have loved to "tap in live" and watch some veterans slug it out when I first started out.The amount of ghosts could be limited from say 1-5 per game.You would browse the internet list of who is playing each other and the list would tell you if "ghosts" are welcome.Both players must agree for their game to be open for "ghosts".

At level 5 and higher any unit base on a road goes invisible,level 1-4 i can see the unit base,5 and up its gone, just the unit base, not the unit, this is annoying because you could have a whole pltn or a veh on a road and forget about it because you cant see it from way above.Is this a bug in my system?
  19. I recently had a panther bog and be immobile in warm sunny dry conditions in steppe,another panther bogged but freed itself,what would cause this?I thought all bogging occured in wet/muddy conditions.The panthers were traveling at fast speed.
  20. Has there been any discussion about possible 3rd level or even 4th level bldgs in the next engine?
