From the FolbotYukon Kayak Website; The Yukon will accommodate a 6' 4", 250-pound paddler with ease, but the seat adjusts for the smaller paddler with lots of gear. I guess you reckon on bringing 50 or so cases of Ring Dings along eh Seanachai? Good planning on that purchase. [ February 17, 2007, 11:11 AM: Message edited by: Nidan1 ]

Many a night we sat in our bunkers and watched the bombs rain down on the DMZ from unseen and unheard B-52s. It was always neat the way the sound of the impacting bombs took a few seconds to reach us after the first flashes from 500lb bomb impacts. Then it became sort of a continuous rumbling, like a subway train and hundreds of individual flashes of light for 15 to 30 minutes straight, then silence and darkness again, and just a huge pall of black smoke rising into the sky and then it blew away and the mountains regained the look that they had for thousands of years before we got there with all of our sophisticated machines of destruction. They never really had a chance, you know, the North Vietnamese Army. They marched all the way down the trail from the North being bombed along the way and dying of disease and exhaustion. Their only chance against us was to catch us in a bad tactical position, which happened often enough, or to out number us, which also happened. They always had to stay close, right on top of us...we knew that.. we planned for that...it was the only way they could negate our artillery and air support. They were cut to ribbons by the thousands by our arty...you could have it landing in seconds...anywhere any time, it was reassuring for us, but scarey because it was sooooo close. The poor bastards were brave, I'll give them that, but we were far better, better soldiers, better officers, better attitude, and they paid the price when attacking us, so for the most part they laid low and picker their spots..they outlasted us, they never beat us. Some great men lost their lives in that small Asian country...great men on both sides...men....**** we were boys and so were they, boys who could have done great things, if their lives were not ended so violently, so abrubtly. I thought Soviet tracers were green, are we sure its a 12.7 Russian made or just an M-2? Yes I'm happy the sun rises in the east, it has for every day I have been alive, kinda makes you feel good about nature being in charge.

I would say that you will have to determine that on your own. There are probably some that are more awful than others, some that are just downright horrible, and others that fall somewhere in between. I am a nice person, Joe Shaw is awful...I guess you can see how this works, you're a smart guy. </font>

Sounds like a good movie script.

The game is afoot!!!...or maybe it is a yard? ...what matters is now we have a mystery. Is Seanachai really traveling to the Emerald Isle? Does Dorosh wear a kilt strictly on ceremonial occasions? Is Leeo becoming a Superhero? All this and more will be revealed, if you send in a self-addressed stamped envelop and two labels from jars of Ovaltine to: BFC Mystery Thread PO Box 1371 Battlecreek ,Mich 12111

oooh, oooh, Mr Dorosh is asking the Bard for help in controlling Leeo's alledged stalking of the aforementioned Mr. Dorosh in other BFC threads. Is Leeo insane?, is this a ploy to pad the aforementioned Mr. Dorosh's already lofty post count? or is Leeo truly a crusading loon, standing up for the meek and downtrodden posters of the outerboards??? LoneSyrian and The State of Your So-Called Union

You come in here for a reason I imagine, not just to spout hatred....or maybe you do. If you want some understanding perhaps you could put a sentence together without an insult or overblown fingerpointing. I for one do not sit here drooling about incinerating Syria...is every Syrian looking to kill Americans? In fact most of the time I may be too busy in my daily life to even think about Syria, or even China for that matter. I can understand why you would find this game disturbing as a citizen of the country in the intended line of fire. I don't care for the venue of this game either, but I don't come in here insulting everyone and calling them names because they discuss it. Why would Mormons teach you be be an asshole, I don't get it?
