I am near the end of the first battle...and without revealing any spoilers, I'll just say that it's #1, great fun so far, and quite interesting from a tactical standpoint...lots of action too, and no walkover for the US forces. Thanks for putting this together, if the rest of the battles are as much fun, this will be a classic campaign.

Here is an example of a dog house that would explain why the tankers name the thermal sight housing so. My dogs have always lived in MY house with me and my family, I thinks its cruel to leave a dog outside in a "house", unless its a working animal and not a pet, even then it just never seemed right to me.

Thanks...so let me understand, US Combat Bases were established in or around cities and semi urban areas? Obviously the road nets become critical, what about helicopter re-supply? I suppose if that were the case we would be dealing with improvised anti-aircraft weapons instead of fixed explosive devises. Its a constant game of cat and mouse...and I guess the key is getting the Iraqis up to speed as soon as possible so that they can do this stuff themselves.

Now, now, now....let us not be quick with the sharp words Olde Joe . I have seen fit to take this young lad under my wing by giving him a game or two. Perhaps with some teaching, and a little corporal punishment now and then, I can mold him into a respectable memeber of this Forum. He may also have aspirations to become a fledged (maybe not full) member of the MBT . Look at the fine work I have done with my other squires, namely stikkypixie and the former Sgt Goody esq , who learned well, but struck out on his own. Speaking of pigs...I have read recently that because of the rising prices of pork in China. Thieves have taken to hi-jacking shipments of pigs on rural highways, and selling the animals to the highest bidder for enormous profits. The Chinese governemnt is so concerned, that it has talked about using the "National Pork Reserve" to increase pig populations and thus attempt to bring down the prices. I guess you can forget about getting a ham on rye in Beijing.
