  1. BigDork is quite right. Give some money to COG for his very hard work and his very important contribution to the CM community is, IMO, the very least we can all do for him ! (Yeah, I said !) Shame on me : I didn't give anything via his Paypal link... So, as soon as this black clouds over COG's head will disappear, I promise to donate something... ...what about a piece of Roquefort ? Courage COG
  2. Doooh ! Freaky situation  I would prefer the 2nd case... ...because some of my mods are preserved in YOUR hardrive : I don't have a copy anymore Doooh again ! That's nothing Sir, I will re-do everthing better !
  3. ...sorry guys but my JT is fine ready now. I cannot access to cmmods website I guess that COG still has some work on it
  4. Hi COG, Have you succeed in your hardware nightmare ? I keep trying to access to cmmods.com and always have a "Gateway timeout" error... I really hope you will finish the job and reopen the website... ...I'm too impatient ! !
  5. Thanks guys for your replies. Effectivelly, those roadwheels may be a little too "mudded"... Remake this is nothing, compared to redraw a complete and satisfactory camo scheme ! I like my winter KT, even if it needs some fixes, but the camo scheme I draw on the other panzer doesn't satisfy me. But painting a tank is always fun, more fun than redraw a complete set of hatches or whatever I'm also going to check cmmods.com in order to upload the Jagdtiger mods...
  6. PSD file package and Yellow mod for the Jagdtiger are ready now to upload. But cmmods.com is still closed at this time : have to wait again !
  7. Ah ah ! Can't wait for this little toy ! Easy ! My grey Jagdtiger is directly heading to your camo workshop !!
  8. Hi Gentlemen, At last, after many weeks, I have finished my "from scratch" Jagdtiger ! The last problem was to have the same grey texture/density between hull side and upper side. Now, it is fixed  ! I only have to check my ZIP package before uploading it to cmmods.com. It is a matter a hours... I have two new project, than I think are almost finished : - A Kingtiger from s.505 Pz Abt, Russia 1944 with the famous charging knight : It also needs some fixes about the camo density (I find it too bright) and an ugly marking on the gun mask (I wanted to add a "III" for a stab unit...). As you can see, these littles fixes will be done (I hope) quickly. - A winter Kingtiger I saw on my "New Vanguard" book about the Tiger II, the famous "Anneliese". It was originally a Porsche version : Here, I also think that the non-zimmerited parts are a bit too light, too "clean". I will have to readjust them. I'll inform the CM community as soon as I upload the Jagdtiger PSD file package. I will also generate a BMP files package to create a monocolor yellow JT for easy modding... Of course, please give me your opinion/suggestion about this stuff. Nothing is finished yet, then I can easely modify or correct something Stay tunned !
  9. Hello, I have recently discovered panzerdiesel.com, a very well done website. I found a very rare and strange picture of zimmerited Sd.251 D  ! Now, dear masters modders, you know what you have to do !
  10. Yes, you're right Thanks, no, BIG THANKS, to "Master" Mr Noobie
  11. Hi Gentlemen, My "from scratch" Jagdtiger is now almost complete : I've just have to coordinate the grey density between the superstructure side and the hull side (Please look at my screenshots). You have to know that the hull side is taken from the Kingfisher "modder's series" archive without any change. I will have to adjust it with the rest of the vehicule (with the main gun mask too !) I will also have to resize my optional "teddy bear" insigna, which is too small at this time. This little bear needs a little "stretching" lesson Another thing : I give up the drawing of a travel lock. It doesn't satisfy me enough to release it I'm sorry. Here is the complete updated list of the changes I did : - 13260 (Bottom hull, side) : File taken from Kingfisher's "Modder's series" King Tiger. No changes. I didn't try to move the rear idler from its original position. As you surelly know, the Jagdtiger was longer than the KT and there was a larger space between the last roadwheel and this idler. - 13261 (Bottom hull, deck) : File taken from Kingfisher's "Modder's series" King Tiger. I only made a little change by replacing the radiator's exhausts by the original BFC Jagdtiger's ones. I removed the ventilator clutch between driver and radio operator's hatches. - 13262 (Gun mask, side) : Complete scratch - 13263 (Gun mask, top) : same file as 13262, but with a 90° rotation angle. I also unabled the shadding effect. - 13264 (Main gun) : Complete scratch, preserving the shading effect. - 13265 (Bottom hull, front) : File taken from Kingfisher's "Modder's series" King Tiger. I only add the fixation rings of the travel lock, welded on the front glacis. - 13266 (Bottom hull, back) : File taken from Kingfisher's "Modder's series" King Tiger. No changes. - 13267 (Superstructure, front) : complete scratch. I add an optional "Teddy bear" insigna, as seen on a WW2 photo. - 13268 (Superstructure, back) : complete scratch too. I will add two german crosses on it. On each sides of the hatch, as seen on many photos. - 13269 (unidentified !) : complete scractch - 13270 : (Schürzen) : File taken from Kingfisher's "Modder's series" King Tiger - 13271 (unidentified !) : complete scractch - 13272 (unidentified !) : complete scractch - 13273 (Superstructure side) : I have added the possibility to have a third "column" of tracks. AFAIK, some late Jagdtiger had this device. Now, three options are possible : no track, two sets of tracks ot three. - 13274 (Superstrucure deck) : Partially redrawn. I modified the shape of the gunner's periscope hole and the main hatch (the original hatches were based on the Jagdpanther). I have added some fixation rings, bolts and a serial number. - 13275 (Superstrucure, ventilator exhaust) : done without any change. At last, the screenies ! Deck : Front : Rear : ...and a "dunkelgelb" try ! I really hope to release this monster as soon as possible.
  12. Hi, Today, I focused my work on the superstructure roof. I add some small details (bolts, serial number, fixation rings...), using the photo above. It is not exactly the same but I feel satisfied The main work was to completelly delete the camo scheme without losing details. It still needs some black lines to improve contrast (for the episcopes) and a redrawing of the "black hole" used for the gunner range finder. IMHO, BFC keeped the same shape which was on the Jagdpanther roof. Unfortunatelly, the main hatch (middle right of the picture) also need a complete redrawing Look at the B&W photo... Stay tuned !
  13. I did the same thing : I wanted to have an almost complete set of winterized vehicles. It was the first step of a complete addict !
  14. Yes, that's right. I find the original a bit "flat"
  15. Hey ! Compare the original BFC Hummel with some mods around there... The first is... ...not so beautifull Sorry !
  16. Ok, here some news about my work : - Removed the ventilator clutch between the loader and the driver hatches (only exists on KT). - Add fixations on the front glacis for the travel lock. - Add an extra "Teddy bear" insigna to the superstructure front armour - Three options for superstructure sides : with two sets of tracks (like BFC original), with another one between, with nothing except fixations. - Partially redrawn the superstructure deck, with more contrasted bolts and lines. Still have to check my work with the picture here : Things I've got to do ( ) : - Add two german crosses on each sides of the rear hatch. - Add a serial number on the superstructure deck (just rear of the gun, as seen on the photo above). - Finish the COMPLETE drawing of a travel lock( ) which is the most difficult... - Add minor details (fixations for example). I envision to release a complete set of Photoshop 6.0 (PC) files. The vehicle will be in greyscale with several optionnal layers (tracks, insigna, travel lock...). As I don't have Paint Shop Pro, I hope that Kingfisher will batch convert my files for that software . I will also create a yellow monocolor mod with standard options (cross, tracks) in BMP format for "easy-moding"... I'll keep you inform ASAP
  17. Great honor : I'm in   Since I consider YOU, Gautrek, as a "Master modder", I'm very honored that you mention me here. Thanks
  18. Ha ! I forget that this function was available. I don't use to dig my Panther tanks. What about traversing speed ? I've read that this speed depends on the motor's rpm value. Then, a dug in turret would have a lower speed...
  19. Hello, As you may know, Panther turrets were widelly used along the different german defence lines in Italy from 1943 to 1945. Even if (It is almost sure) CMAK is totally done now and ready to ship ( ), let me ask this question to the BFC designers : - Will Panther turrets will be included in CMAK ? I know that concrete bunker with 75mm gun exists but it doesn't provide the same pleasure to play. On the other hand, I'm not sure that the "Concrete bunker" coded model has the same parameters than a Panther pillbox (armament, protection, traversing speed, etc...). Any comment ?
  20. ...yes... That's right. Then, because with have some grogs here, did the IS3 really saw combat during the late stages of WW2 ? Maybe against some Jagdtiger... Ahem.. Let's pray for a 1.04 patch, including : a REAL Pz I, a REAL Pz 35(t) and a REAL IS-III (I surelly forget some units) ! ...I know, I know : It's a dream.
