  1. I've seen you've got an ATI Radeon card... ...then no fog for you (like for me ) Check also the ZMask and disable it in order to improve your framerate. You will surelly need a tweak to do that, try "3drage tweak" at google to find it. But the specs look fine for me
  2. ...late yesterday evening, I felt a bit bored about Panthers... ...then I tried another King Tiger mod ! Summer version : ...and its winter counterpart : (Thanks to Zimorodok's "Modders series" )
  3. Thanks for these kind words, men Actually, I also find those Panthers a bit too clean. Then, I'm actually testing some battle damages : missing schürzen, mud, shell impact, old zimmerit and weathering effects for paint... So, the #2 serie would surelly represents veterans Panthers ! PS : Panther D will be available tomorrow, if all is OK (pink spots...).
  4. Hello everybody, I'm now testing the last two mods of my Panther serie 1 , Panther D and Panther D late, both in summer and winter versions. With these mods, my first complete series of Panthers will be done My plan was to have a sort of regularity in the process. I mean each Panther has its tricolor summer versions with blurred schemes, and a winter versions which tries to represent a hasty whitewash (over a dunkelgelb coat) applied by the troop. Now, I have experimented many things and would like to know what would be the most usefull. Most of the time, I prefer to realise a mod of my personnal taste. For example, I don't like neat/clean whitewashes but maybe some guys around there would like to have a model like that. Also, this first serie is "fresh from the factory", without mud. The zimmerit and the schürzen are also clean. But, as EVERYTHING is possible to do, I wish some Panther-fanatics here will help me by suggesting new schemes or ideas with in mind the fact that it will be a "serie" of mods. Thanks in advance for your suggestions/ideas PS : I also remember those fantastic M4 Sherman with snow in CMBO... ...but don't know HOW to do it for CMBB's Panthers
  5. ...well... why not ? It wouldn't be so difficult to replace the wire by wood and make then two different versions of the mod I'll keep you informed.
  6. Good idea Dressler ! It would be possible to copy Fernando's work by using his mod as a guide for the ambush pattern, file after file...
  7. Thanks guys I don't tested the fence at night yet. I confess I didn't think about it ! I will try to blur the pixel effect, maybe by increasing the size of the wood boards (word ?), some are very thin. But the main part of the work is now done : I have deleted every little piece of background "behind" the fence in the original photo... ...I prefer to paint a Panther For the Panzer, it is fresh painted from the factory. I plan to decrease the contrast of the camo scheme, because I find too light, too clean. I'm also wondering about one thing : did the Panther G late were, first, painted with red primer at the factory, or in dark yellow ? I've made the roadwheels and bottom hull red, but I hesitate to make it yellow
  8. Hello all, I actually try to realise what I consider as a typicall east european wood fence ! Please tell me what you think about it, but remember it is a WIP I'm also working in an ambush PzVG... ...but the scheme is too bright IMO : Suggestions are welcome
  9. Hi, First, you need to download the Rage 3D Tweak here : Rage 3D tweak page . AFAIK, the default ATI setting menu on WinXP doesn't allow to modify the ZMask. I had a BIG improvement after setting this device with the tweak program : FPS switched from 12 to 25-30 in battles  Then, I was able to put more trees, more doodads, etc. without slowing down the machine ! Hope it will help.

  11. I really like your post CombinedArms ! Very interesting I would suggest that scattered trees tile could be put more randomly along the bocage line as bocage is not a "perfect" neat vegetal line.
  12. Hi Gentlemen ! I've just finished to rename my last Panther mods as "Panther serie 1". I think it's more usefull This serie includes the Ausf.G (standard and late versions), Ausf. A (early and standard versions) and the Jagdpanther. Each model has a summer and a winter version. Have a look at cmmods.com, dear Astrocat, a winter Panther G is now available...
  13. Thank you Astrocat ! I forgot to upload my winter Panther G... It's already done and looks like my Panther G late (winter version of course). I'll upload it ASAP !! Like I said in my last post, I plan to create "series" for these packs. There was so many camo variants, and CM players have so many tastes of preferences for this tank that it would be a pitty to just mod a Panther a single time. Let's imagine a monocolor version, a bicolor, a tricolor...etc... with nice variants and some zimmerit options ! Well, it's just an idea for the moment ! If someone have suggestions or ideas about that, please let me know
  14. Hello gentlemen, I've just finisihed to upload a summer and a winter versions for the Panther G late at the usual place ... Now, let's look at the Ausf.D models. I'm also thinking about the realisation of different "Panther packs" by numbering the mods. You know, there is so many camo variants, and I also need to progress... Happy new year !
  15. ...err... I'm sorry dear Mister E, but I don't understand the meaning of your post ! Maybe my message was a bit confused. I wanted to list the Panther models which are still to be modded : the 2 versions of the Ausf.D and the late Ausf.G. For info : I'm actually testing another summer version of the late Panther G. A winter hasty whitewashed version of the panzer is also finished... Happy new year 2004 everybody !
  16. Thanks guys ! You're welcome Ok, let's see : - Panther A early : done - Panther A normal : done - Panther G : done - Jagdpanther (early and late) : done What's next : - Panther G late - Panther D - Panther D late Let's continue !
  17. Mods are now uploaded ! Enjoy ...a little XMas present for the C community
  18. Your attention please ! Panther A (summer and winter version) and Jagdpanther (summer and winter version too) will be available tomorrow at cmmods.com Summer versions have a tricolor camo. On the contrary, the winter versions have a dark yellow basis over which I have put a hasty whitewash. I'll keep you informed Merry Christmas to everybody !!
  19. Hi All ! ...please have a look at cmmods.com... Some Panther models have been uploaded : - Panther A early with "square" zimmerit, winter version (a summer version is coming...) which is the "version n°1" - Panther A early without zimmerit, summer and winter version (which is the version n°2 set) - Panther G summer version I plan to upload some mods I have to finalize : - Summer version for the early Panther A version 1 (with zimmerit) - Winter version for the Panther G - Winter version for the Panther A "normal", mostly based on the second version of the winter early Panther A (which I prefer ) A lot of stuff still needs to be done ! - Summer version for the Panther A normal - Winter and summer version for the late Panther G (I keep trying to find a satisfactory camo scheme  ) - Summer and winter version for ALL the Panther D versions (quite a big work !) I really hope I will can upload some mods in the next few days, but I don't have started anything for the D model. Actually, I'm testing a winter Panther A. Summer versions in general are, IMHO, more difficult to do, as I always try to find some interesting camo concepts, and it's quite hard for my little brain ! Of course, my PSD files which are my working base will be also uploaded. PS : As far as I have checked in my CMAK/BMP folder, I suspect my modest mods to be compatible for both CMBB and CMAK ! Good news
  20. Hello all, After a quite long silence, I'm restarting to mod some panzern again My actual project is to mod all the Panther models which exist in CMBB/CMAK : - Panther D - Panther A early - Panther A - Panther G - Panther G late (I probably forget some model...) All tanks will be available in both summer and winter version. Actually, the early Panther A and the two Panther G versions are almost done... I'll keep you informed as soon as possible with screenshots !
  21. Hi hi hi... In a kind of way, Guru Bogdan was also right Related CMAK thread ...well now, what is the exact meaning of "few" ?
  22. Is that why they did not allow the French to play? </font>
  23. Hi All, Hope you've got some time to look at this modest post... ...as CMAK demo has been released, I suspect the CMBB forum to be a bit "forgot" Here is my WIP for the late Panther G. I try to represent a camo scheme which was adopted by the "Wiking" SS Pz Div. in fall 1944. I find my lines a bit too sharp, and the the dark yellow a bit too "greenish"... Advices and suggestions are, as usual, very very welcome [ November 20, 2003, 08:46 AM: Message edited by: Bogdan ]
  24. ...and now the Panther G late (PSD file package) is uploaded ! Same place. Let's mod gentlemen
  25. IMHO, Store4war (which is a very nice website however) simply put "January 2004" because they don't really know when CMAK will be available effectivelly, both in USA and Europe... Then, at this date, they are nearly sure the game will be released already. In fact, they wanted to be the firsts to propose CMAK to sell. Even before the BFC designers Paradoxically, I would "trust" CDV (if it was really possible) for a release the 28th in Europe. Then I predict a US release a few days before : remember CMBB (hey, I would never imagine that I say that someday !)... Other possibility : BFC releases a demo, around the 25th of November... ...and the game wil came approx. in January '04, like Store4war said  ...Guru Bogdan : 'can predict release date for almost everything LOL
