I don't think it was as much of whose side God was on, But rather who was on God's side. I believe that the greater God will prevail in Battle. There should be no question who God was fighting with, now.

Example; You can read many books on the German economy and it reads that it was ****. Yet Germany boasted that it had one of the strongest economies in the world. Countries saw Germany as having a strong economy! In fact they stood in Awe! Same with the weapons and military might. So when it comes to Games, German Uberness is correct!

Games are the only thing we have in recreating the war. For the most part WWII Games are Historically correct! There is knowledge in WWII games. Soddball and others believe that one can not Gian any knowledge or understanding playing War games or watching War documentaries. These self proclaimed scholars believe they know more about WWII then those who lived it. They also believe that anybody who would dare to believe that the Germans were the best fighting force on the planet at that time, are Kraut lovers due to German Uberness portrayed in Games. No! I can watch War documentaries and Interviews and see that all stood in awe (at that time) when it came to Germany.

My point is it was God that won the War for the Allies. The people of WWII know this! Most of the History buffs and Godless people of today can not understand this. The only time people (non believers) call upon God is if they are in the Hospital, Jail or time of War. So it is no matter anyway. But let it be known that there are all kinds of facts that one can take in his understanding of WWII. Everything is not cut and dry. Read as many books as you want, you can never know it all. Only if you went back in time and experienced the actual War would you began to understand.

Yes, I think the Germans had the backing of the 'Pope' (Catholic church)as well. OK I know this is not going to get anywhere! Whether you believe it or not God was a factor in WWII. You dint hear much about the Germans making reference to God or calling upon God to help them overcome the Allies. Not to mention the millions of prayers by those that the Germans were enslaving, killing and torturing. Chances are if you did not believe in God before the war you did by the wars end. Hind sight is 20/20 We might understand that the Germans were not as great as they themselves or others thought at 'that' time. I hear it in interviews on allot of the documentaries. Allied solders saying (while they were taking German prisoners) hear are troops better then theirs. As well as the Germans, They could not understand how they could be defeated in Africa (and elsewhere) Thinking that they were the Best of the best! Sure it was all in there mind. Do you think it helped them win battles? They stormed over Europe for years before they lost a battle! For a time they looked unstoppable! You read about some of the German combatants, and have to wonder who does that! The German tank commander that Gave no thought to enemy Armor but hated AT guns. Going strait down the middle of a tank infested road blowing Sherman's left and right trying to get at a AT gun. Ended up taking a town single handed. For allot of Germans the War was fun. By today's standard allot of things may look over exaggerated. During the course of the war one would stand in wonder! If you are an aggressive player chances are Germany would best suit your needs. The nations and people of WWII understood God Was the answer in bringing the Germans to there knees! You must know this? You can hear all about it on the documentaries that were taken at the time. The allies were always referring to God before they went into battle. Some might say the Russkies were brave, maybe so. I cant help but think what might of happened if the Russians did not kill there own troops? I read some where that one out of four bullets that the Russians used were on there own men. No matter to me Soddball! If you have something intelligent to say please say it? You seem to think that the Germans were beat before they even started? Yes that is true, I agree but not because any other nation was mightier than Germany. Only, Because it was prophesied about long ago. Many God fearing folk new that Germany would lose the War because of what is written. The Living word Brother! You can read any book you like and I might read the same book. It does not mean our understanding will be the same. Is there only one way to learn about WWII? NO! There are many different Roads. You are silly if you think there is nothing to be learned on this forum and the playing of games as well as documentaries and reading the General and other sources. I do not need to be a scholar to understand WWII. Just because I don't read every book that comes out does not mean my understanding has any less value than yours or anybody else. Some would say WWII was not a game? Yet there are those that participated in WWII that thought of it as a game.

The Russians alone, did not and could not defeat the Germans! Stop being a renob! And understand that WWII games and there references are historically correct. (for the most part) When they are not accurate it is quickly pointed out and given the proper understanding. So you go read your Hitler diaries and Reference books and I will continue to watch the history channel and read on this forum as well as play my games. You come to your understanding and I will know the truth! There is knowledge on this forum! People like Jersey john and many others who have all the facts. I have read some of your post in the past, you are like a resounding gong, boring! And for those of you who do not believe that God was a major factor in the war you are foolish! Look at the countries that believed God would pull them through. Do you honestly believe that the RAF could of done what they had done if there was no God?

Don't you know that the History channel has it all wrong! You cant learn anything about WWII on the history channel! the People on this forum are edjecated on the History of WWII. The people on TV get paid to say things to mess with your mind in actuality they know nothing! same with all the WWII games out there. It is all inane unsubstantiated malarkey!

My main concern lies with Human vs Humans. Really! I Mean how long can anybody play against the computer? What stage are we at with this game? Sure any idea could be integrated into the game at a later date. The game is on!!! The Demo is as good as out. next in line is multi-player on line. I have not seen a WWII Multi-player computer game that is worth playing! There are few multi-player computer games out there worth playing at all. Is there any ideas on how SC2 is going to overcome this Multi-player gayness among computer games? Will there be individual wins (option), even among ones own allies? Loads of questions. Any ideas?

I think it is great when some come up with original ideas. As far as games go,I was hoping Hubert would go outside the norm on game design. I stopped comparing the mechanics of SC and other games long ago. The games you speak of are good games. We all have ideas, at this stage in the game I trust Hubert will do His thing, making SC2 a great game! Keep coming up with ideas. Don't be disappointed if SC2 does not operate like some of the other games that we love. Sure I get frustrated with SC and often times think it is gay! I wish it would do this or that. I see that SC Is great game and I think Hubert is on the right path. Some people act like SC should follow along the same lines as other games.

I am not looking for a improved game of panzer general or third Reich. Hubert and Strategic command Hit it right on the mark. SC is a fast, quick simple fix! So you say Hubert should take game A, B and C and come up with a new game. I say Hubert take Game A, B and C, And use it as butt wipe or throw it out the window! Hubert, SC only needs "you" to do that voodoo that you do so well.

I trust Hubert will bring us into the next level of war gaming. There are Manny games out there. Not 'one' can compare with Strategic Command! I am sure SC2 will have all the right stuff. Leave all other games behind, Strategic command has surpassed them all.

Think of it as a loan. America was making it rich during the first world war. Loans and such. Not sure if America was raping countries as blatantly during the second war. Never the less greed is a factor. Plunder, extortion, loans call it what you will.

You can not compare one solder with another solder. They are the same! Owned as it were. Killers is what they are! If you think you would of reacted any different you deceive yourselves! War must be in our nature otherwise this hobby would not exist! The Germans are no more murderer's then the Americans or any other Armed forces. When it comes to war Killing and murder come hand in hand. My Father never talked about the war, he fought for the allies. my uncle has allot of stories to tell he fought for the Germans. That Is all fine when talking about two or three player Game. What about five or six players? The possibilities would be endless! If I was playing the french I might want to side with the Germans, Same with any country. Hope it would be possibble..

I assume there would be plenty of 'What if's' in a five player game. Being that The game probably starts with France at war with Germany, The "What if's" belong to Russia and USA. I would hope to believe either one could join Axis. Maybe Poland as well?

Where's the fun in playing the AI?

The idea of any WWII game is to change the outcome. So I would think that if Germany holds on to Berlin at wars end they would win?
