  1. For the most part my planes have hurt the enemy far worse than the few friendly fire incidents that are of course inevitable. I buy them instead of artillery quite often. It is really a drag when youre last at-gun is strafed by youre own pilot though  but overall I love using air support in this game
  2. Too much Vodka back at the mortar battery... have to wake them up, then their heads are pounding.....feel lucky if they send any rounds after the bender they put on.
  3. I prefer any type of battle over a M/E QB. It may be me or my opponents but they always seem to play the same. Dont get me wrong obviously to each his/her own. Im not a win monger I enjoy playing this game for the "historical" feel, which to me never (or rarely) would include a even point meeting. I recently told a friend that playing him in m/e QB was like playing on his home field (no offence just an observation)he is a big even M/E fan where I am not.
  4. I feel obliated to stick up for CC series. I enjoy CC3 and still play 1 of the many mods for it, plus CC3 has literally 100s of custom made maps. True the game has its limits, but it is still one of the best small scale wargames I have ever played. But once you get into playing CMBB you wont be playing much CC. CMBB is so much deeper that it will keep you from reaching for CC3. Try both, CC3 has a ton of custom mods/maps and now even user made campaigns and ops. CC3 is fun when you only have 45 minutes to kill and want a "Quick game". But if you have to chose 1 or the other get CMBB. You wont regret it.(especially if you are a grog) the scope and scale of CMBB is mind boggling at times but truly awesome.
  5. I really like the CMBB infantry model. The only thing that I would consider tweaking would be auto-sneaking path finding. This game is in my eyes a huge Improvement over CMBO.
  6. Hmmm....didnt the Russians train birds to carry Explosives...???
  7. I dont even bother reading the Peng thread. why let something you know little or nothing about bother you?
  8. Good Ideas,my opponents an I have had a little trouble getting a grip on the QB system, trying to get fun semi-balanced games. Thanks
  9. I love CMBB. For my $.02 its a huge improvement over CMBO which was a quality game in its own rights. I have not booted up CMBO since getting CMBB
  10. I like CMBO but for me CMBB is the way to go. Eastern front has so many possibilities for nasty Historical/semi-historical battles its mind numbing
