  2. I have seen tanks move other vehicles out of way on road and open ground dry (even burning one's) but never a bogged on eas in borris's encounter. But I suppose it could be possible , maybe bogged also just means broken down.......

This info is about the Sherman '75' Armed with an M3 75mm gun fitted with a gyro stabilizerfor one axis (elevation)stabilization.The standard anti-tank round was the M61 APC, which could penetrate 68mm of armour at 500 meters and 6omm of armour at 1000 meters . The round wieghed 20lb of which the projectile was 15lb. From: The Sherman Tank published by Osprey, Vanguard I will see what I can dig up on the MK IV.
  4. There is a pretty cool rocket sound from a german Panzerwerfer Maultier in the Close Combat III game by microsoft,hope that this was helpful.....

  6. Ya that seems like it would interesting, but I would rather see the vehicles that saw combat like the the land battle ship the T-35; 5 turrets, 1 with the 76short, 2 with 45 mm, 2 with mg's, I think that would be more interesting in the game than a maus or a Is III....

  8. Hmm, no one likes to see their tank go up in smoke (although it looks cool in the game),I think it seems pretty accurrate from what I've read 'bout WW II armour combat. Here's a qoute from a book about the Sherman in a book published by Osprey : Vanguard ; Co. 'A', 66th Armd. Regt.,2nd Armd. Div. . As more HVAP(tungsten in game turms) ammo became availiable the situation became more balanced : 'While on the right of the village Fischeln Germany...my position had a field of fire extending to a distance of 2000 yds. covering several roads. While in this position I spotted a mk V (Panther) moving across my front. My first shot I used AP , establishing the range , which was 1600 yds.. The next round was HVAP. It hit the tank immediately setting it on fire'. -Sgt. Ross Figueroa ,2nd Armd. Div. Just one example of many such stories.

  10. Have played several IP games as host and jion mutiplayer but are unable to set up for battle: get message [No orders this turn just hit go]Whats up with that ? Am I doing something wrong or are others having same type of problem ? :confused:
  11. Well maybe it's just a matter of "time" . Most battles usually last only minutes. Maybe the weapon has been damaged in some way?
