It has a town, rivers, farmland, mountainous forests, and sacks of hot, wet TNT. -

Goodale, give me a couple of days and you can have 33,000 points of war death in your lap. Your turn is back at ya - oh boy. -

Well, very soon Goodale can play my new "Alpine Summer" scenario. 33,000 points in total in an all-out Russian assault. I've playtested it up to about turn 55 out of 120 (turns take 5 minutes to process) and it's a hoot. There's more TNT to chuck than I've got pegs. -

Nobody has told anybody which name to assume. But would you onto a forum which discusses racial equality with the name "Nigger Basher"? No. Part of being a democracy is tolerance of other people's views - and the people here are entitled to their views. Are you also claiming that these facts about the evil things Heydrich did are untrue? Nazi apologists last a fast five minutes here. For your information, we had an SS Peiper here before. He was banned for posting images of Nazi iconography and of mutilated bodies from the death camps - and quite right too. -

Goodale, you slack, wart-smothered minge, I haven't even seen that turn yet. Still, your lucky, lucky luck luck pants will soon wear thin if you continue riding your tanks by the seat of them. -
The  emoticon, however, should remain - blessed as it is by the incomprehensible frot monkey that is MasterGoodale.

Crappy Russian Tanks

Oh, a charming fellow he was. Besides that he was an SS-Obergruppenführer (General) and head of the SD. He was one of the key figures in the expulsion/murder of jews in Europe. After the german attack on the soviet Union he directed the Einsatzgruppen that followed the army groups and murdered hundreds of thousands people, mostly jews. After the "Wannsee-Konferenz" in 1941 he was responsible for the execution of the Endlösung, resulting in millions of jews murdered. I'm pretty much puzzled by some of the comments I read here... </font> -
I think it is definitely worth pursuing. As Pud pointed out to me in an email, the filesharing system will only take off when the Mod Database dies through having absorbed all the world's bandwidth. Before that time, it would be nice to develop a standard mod format and so on so that when we do eventually lose the database the filesharing scheme is available. Sadly, I suck with my 56k modem so I am never going to be much good for downloading, but I will try.

Me too! Is yours self-induced or court-ordered? Mine is self-induced, well girlfriend induced actually, but it serves my base desires to go along for the ride. </font> -

How about using the system I use? If I want multiple vehicles to proceed along the same route, I add an extra waypoint in for each vehicle. That way, the first vehicle has (for example) 6 second delay, the second has (for example) 9 second delay, the third has 13 second delay. This solves all your problems and will stop sissy jessy wierdos grizzling to mamma. Yeah.  You want to get some HOT MOLTEN TNT in your pants, boy.  -

Who was this Heydrich fellah? If he's scum, then perhaps the poster who picked that as his moniker should do the decent thing and come in again with a fresh face. PS - Russian tanks are not uniformly 'crappy'. See the FAQ thread for details. PPS - A cute little 'HI MUM' because I suspect this will be heading the way of the Great Padlock in the Sky very soon. -
AFV Armor - Riveted vs. Welded - Modeled?
Soddball replied to Neuer Art's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Originally posted by John D Salt: I disagree entirely. I expect the next version of Combat Mission to model the incidental, but critical effect of the chilling of snow on turret armour, which alters ricochet noises from PEEOOWNGG to PEEEEEOOOOOWWWNNGGG I find it hard to believe that you are prepared to sanction such laziness in terms of armour modelling, John. Your attitude disgusts me. -

I'm back. I was away on Saturday and Sunday at a Stag Night. Ye gods, it was dull. When you've seen one pair of naked, oiled lesbians pleasuring each other you've seen them all. Beer? Don't talk to me about beer. I am on detox for a month. Turns will be shipped when I can be sure what I am playing. -

Heeheee! All of my turns are in! Teddy Windsor and I are still slogging through Goodale's creation. I have been beaten up by rocket-delivered molten TNT and hidden AT guns are making my day sucky. Hortlund and I are both waiting for the damn game to finish - we have gone into extra time in a big way. Goodale is about to discover the folly of letting me defend as Germans. Muahahah! I have just started playtesting my scenario "Inferno" against the lucky Jussi Kohler - molten face-melting flamethrower death all round!  -

Is this the Tiger I we see in CMBB?
Soddball replied to Alarmer's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Then do some tests. T-34s are not invulnerable, nor should they be. Your early T-34 is supremely vulnerable and some of the reasons are - cramped turret so lower Rate of Fire than Panzer III, no radio or cupola so slower response time than Panzer III. The gun should be able to penetrate the T-34s and the reason you're losing your tanks is probably partly due to the two reasons I've listed. Alternatively, your gameplay could just suck. Have you been and read the FAQ thread? -

What particular aspect of the Tiger are you questioning? Oh, and which T-34 are you talking about front turret penetrations on with the 50mm/L60?
