1. Shatter here at a heathy 25 years of age. Been here snce I was 23 under a different name. To all you guys in the old folks home its not my fault your old farts.
 2. Hey Manx is the plan to CMMOS everthing, that sure would be nice. The reason I have not got CMMOS yet is because of the lack of CMMOS mods but now you have changed all that. Thanks again
 3. I would not mind seeing a new Tiger, but I think all the German assault guns are badly in need of a work over. I have not been happy with these for quite some time. A new Chaffee would also be nice, I don't use them often but what about a Jagdtiger, or armored cars. I am pretty happy with the majority of the allied stuff, but a new Pershing would be nice. I could go on and on so you better just pick one. I am really looking forward to that Hetzer, as it is one of my favorites. Keep up the good work. 5. Here is my 2 cents: since joining the CM community well over a 1 1/2 year now (under a different name). I have compiled 3 800 Meg R/W cd's, 2 for regular CM and 1 for Desert Fox stuff, not to mention at least close to 200 meg of mods I have done myself for CM as well as Desert Fox. Plus around another 100 meg on my HD. I believe I have just about every mod that is available for DL. So basically I have close to around 2 Gig worth of mods. Next I burned 3 more Cd's with nothing but BMP folders, with different setups (2 for regular CM and 1 for Desert Fox). I do not use CMMOS I find these programs sometimes just a pain in the A$$. I know a lot of people out their sure like them, but my CD's do just fine for me. I really enjoy switching mods from time to time. In fact the only mods I have stuck with for any length of time are the newer ambush style mods for the Axis, oh and I can't forget Marco Bergmans Shermans Pack. I am always on a quest for more mods as well as making my own , if I think I need something different. So in other words I believe you should get every mod out their and give it try. Or if your just looking for quick fix of mods. Get anything in the ambush style as well as Marco's Sherman Mega Pack, terrain either the Normandy pack, or DF Hi-res grass, Trees, see here I go again, you better just decide for yourself. Theirs my 2 cents Shatter [ 12-05-2001: Message edited by: Shatter ]

 6. Here is the 1st vote for the most useless test of the month. I also had 20 CM running with small battles (just to see if it would work). Specs Pentium 4 1.4 Ghz, 512 MB Ram, Voodoo 5500 AGP. Also tried it on my second PC specs Pentium 3 877 Mhz, 320 MB Ram, Voodoo 5500 AGP
 7.
quote:
Originally posted by Clubfoot: And yet, it's been downloaded in excess of 3500 times to date. Somebody liked it.

Hey Club I am with ya. I still play desert style just as often as regular. I just burned a CD with your stuff on it and and switch BMP, scenario, sound folders. As for who ever mentioned the pinkies being shown, between what Aussie Jeff and what I did, I do not see anymore pink spots. Plus I have created at least another 20 scenarios for DF that are on my HD.
 8. I have done the same thing myself many times. You can even play 2 IP games at the same time. Never tried more than 2 though.
 9. Excellent Job, once again. Now get back to that Hetzer, before another Saturday goes by.
 10. Excellent, I have been waiting for this (as you know). Now I can have it on my battlefield. Now just a few more vehicles to be done in ambush style and the Axis forces will be complete. Great Job [ 12-04-2001: Message edited by: Shatter ]

 11. Still no new news? Between this mods and the JagdPanther thats coming, I'm not sure if I can wait. Shatter [ 11-28-2001: Message edited by: Shatter ]

 12. I know you probably to busy to have finished this mod, but I was just wondering if there has been any progress on these jewels? I can't wait for these JagdPanthers to be ready. Shatter
 13. Well I just usually go to the opponent finder on this forum. I play CM with my Dad and a couple close friends. Lately they have not been able to play, so I would be willing to take on a new couple new opponents. Send me an e-maill if you are interested.
 14. Actually I like the road wheels all the same color, not camoed differnetly. So when is this Hetzer gonna be ready to DL?
 15.
quote:
Originally posted by Clubfoot: per side. 512 total.

Thanks Club I figured that it had to be more than 256 total because, I got at least 350 units going at it in my newest scenario.
 16. I thought I read on another thread that is was 256. If so is that for both sides, or 256 per side? The reason I ask is I am working on a massive scenario. Thanks Shatter
 17. Bumb Any news on when these will be released?
 18. Looks great, can't wait Now we just need those Assult guns and a few other vehicles and all my German vehicles will be in Ambush camo. Great job Andrew Regards Shatter
 19.
quote:
Originally posted by AndrewTF: Oh, it's coming along just fine! Expect updated screen shots on the forum tonight!

Cool, I look forward to using your mod. With all the mod copyright crap going on, I thought maybe all mods were on hold. I just wish people would realize that mods are for peoples enjoyment and to enhance CM. If the mod guys don't want their mods changed or redone they should never give them to others at all. ] A while back I was doing mods for DFDR with Aussie Jeff, and I redid Tigers Whirbelwind/Ostelwind to a DFDR style as well as his halftracks and a bunch of other mods from various modders, and handed them over to Aussie Jeff and he touched them up even more. I did not even care if he had my permission. I only did the mods to make DFDR that much more enjoyable for all the other people, not boast about them being my mods. I could careless if my name was even mentioned(although it was kinda cool to see my name mentioned on the forum by Aussie Jeff as mods by Shatter). Other than that if my name was not even mentioned it wouldn't have been a big deal. All the modders I spoke with just asked to mention their names in the readme file and that would suffice. I think that is the way it should be. So bottom line is if you don't want them to be in the publics hands don't hand them over. This all really seems childish (to me at least). Anyway can't wait for your mod. [ 11-21-2001: Message edited by: Shatter ]

 20. Andrew, you got any time frame on when your new Hetzer will be done. The one Tom just released is nice, but from the picks you posted your looks a little better. Thanks for any info in advance Shatter
 21. Bump Just wanted to make sure I did not miss it. Mike any update for us?
 22.
quote:
Originally posted by ciks: M2 can take out Panzer IV from behind if close enough.

Shatter here I had some doubt as to this being possible so a did numerous test on several tanks. Test was with a pair of 50cals firing on each Tank type from 30 to 35 meters, firing on the rear of the tanks. Here is the results All Panzer MarkIV types no problem for the 50cal to take out at close range from the rear. Jagdpanzer all types = KO Hetzer = KO Lynx = KO Hotchkiss = KO Wirbelwind & Ostelwind = KO Sturmgeshultz all tpyes = KO (Although it took around 10 test or so, to knock out each type. Abandoning was more common). Panther & Jagdpanther = No KO's (After a $h_t load of test finally achieved Gun Damage and then Abandoned) Did not waste my time on Tigers, King Tigers or JagdTiger since they all have thicker rear armor than Panthers So I figure af close ranges the 50cal (at least from the standpoint of CM) can punch through at least 30mm of armor. I was really suprised to see the 50cal. can take out some of the lighter German Tanks. Never again will I do one of these test, to time consuming [ 11-14-2001: Message edited by: Shatter ]

 23.
quote:
Originally posted by Scipio: He did? I have never given him my permission to publish or offer my mods somewhere or somehow. This is the second time I hear that he did so - beside the old story when he felt the need to make me mods better, also without asking me. If there is something I really hate, then unfriendly people who take other peoples work as if it's there own. Maybe it's better to leave my mods on my HD only.
