You forgot "RTFM" Just place them close together. The Sherman is a Sherman IIIC (M4A2 with 17 pdr). It was a trials version which underwent testing at Aberdeen and never left, later becoming a part of the exhibit. The turret bustle contains radio equipment, not ammo. ------------------ "From Halifax or Newfiejohn Or Derry's clustered towers, By trackless paths where conning towers roll, If you know another group in which You'd sooner spend your hours, You never sailed beneath the Barber Pole!" -- Escort Group C5 sailing song. -

While I have no specific answers for you, it seems a good place to raise the concern that while any anti-tank team is sitting without a target they are listed as "reloading". That don't seem right. ------------------ "From Halifax or Newfiejohn Or Derry's clustered towers, By trackless paths where conning towers roll, If you know another group in which You'd sooner spend your hours, You never sailed beneath the Barber Pole!" -- Escort Group C5 sailing song. -

I believe the elements of T.O.T. were the creation of Georg Bruchmüller in WW1, however it was Brig. Gen. Leslie McNair at the Gunnery Dept. at Fort Sill in the early 1940s who brought together those elements in the form of the flexible fire support doctrine which Germans feared in WW2. ------------------ "From Halifax or Newfiejohn Or Derry's clustered towers, By trackless paths where conning towers roll, If you know another group in which You'd sooner spend your hours, You never sailed beneath the Barber Pole!" -- Escort Group C5 sailing song. -

My wishlist is short. What's the Russian word for "cesspool"? ------------------ "The whole of Scotland will rejoice if the commanding officer of the Canadian Army could see fit that the taking of Saint-Valery is accomplished by the Highland Division. PzKw IV obviously. Ausf G (late) probably. Side skirts are missing. 80mm Appliqué armour on the glacis. ------------------ "The whole of Scotland will rejoice if the commanding officer of the Canadian Army could see fit that the taking of Saint-Valery is accomplished by the Highland Division. We already have that, Jarhead. I too welcome these sort of posts. The cry has gone out, loud and keening, for more of the "funnies". The Dicta Pool, resubmitted for endorsement, originally posted by Jdmorse:
quote:
Daily Affirmations for the Unstable I no longer need to punish, deceive or compromise myself. Unless, of course, I want to stay employed. A good scapegoat is nearly as welcome as a solution to the problem. As I let go of my feelings of guilt, I can get in touch with my Inner Sociopath. I have the power to channel my imagination into ever-soaring levels of suspicion and paranoia. Today, I will gladly share my experience and advice, for there are no sweeter words than "I told you so." I need not suffer in silence while I can still moan, whimper and complain. As I learn the innermost secrets of the people around me, they reward me in many ways to keep me quiet. I assume full responsibility for my actions, except the ones that are someone else's fault. I honor my personality flaws, for without them I would have no personality at all. Joan of Arc heard voices too. When someone hurts me, forgiveness is cheaper than a lawsuit, but not nearly as gratifying. The first step is to say nice things about myself. The second, to do nice things for myself. The third, to find someone to buy me nice things. As I learn to trust the universe, I no longer need to carry a gun. Just for today, I will not sit in my living room all day watching TV. Instead I will move my TV into the bedroom. Who can I blame for my own problems? Give me just a minute... I'll find someone. Why should I waste my time reliving the past when I can spend it worrying about the future? I will find humor in my everyday life by looking for people I can laugh at. I am willing to make the mistakes if someone else is willing to learn from them.

------------------ "The whole of Scotland will rejoice if the commanding officer of the Canadian Army could see fit that the taking of Saint-Valery is accomplished by the Highland Division. Some real-life data on artillery fire adjustment
Forever Babra replied to tss's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Some basic math tells me a Piiru is a true mil. Based on tss's statement "300=approximately 17.5 degrees", I come up with 6171 in a circle. Smaller than the US/Nato 6400 and larger than the Russian 6000. Close enough to the 6283 true. I've been hunting high and low for over ten years for a good Silva Ranger graduated in mils -- they just can't be found on the civilian market. ------------------ "The whole of Scotland will rejoice if the commanding officer of the Canadian Army could see fit that the taking of Saint-Valery is accomplished by the Highland Division. A mil is a one unit rise over a thousand unit run, hence the name. I haven't done trig in a few decades so I'll let someone else figure out if that is analogous to a "piiru". ------------------ "The whole of Scotland will rejoice if the commanding officer of the Canadian Army could see fit that the taking of Saint-Valery is accomplished by the Highland Division.
