yeah, definitely go for the most expensive i7 cpu you can afford. And from what I have read, the next engine upgrade may make use of 'modern hardware' so an up to date graphics card may help too.

first thing to try is add the game's .exe to your av's whitelist.

I note that in the previous CMFI module release R2V, Declan said "very soon" Posted November 23, 2019
He then said "very very soon" Posted November 30, 2019 and the module was released that same day.

Search for DDU. Very useful utility to cleanly remove video drivers before upgrading or reinstall drivers.
