Again? They need to start sending you some cool stuff as thanks and acknowledgement. But it must definitely be an ego-booster!

But if you can dig it in right behind the corner of a building, with just enough LOS to fire where you think they will be, then the gun tends to last a bit longer, as direct fire HE will often impact the building instead of in/near your gun position.

Was just thinking about this one.
Seeing it for the first time in ambush is enough to bring tears.....
Come on Christmas!!!

Many of us use ROQC or BCR, which are both single player campaigns you can find on this board, but there are no maps which are "linked" in this fashion.
I think quite a few of us would LOVE to have a lot of maps (200 is awesome, but even 50 that went together would be fantastic) that were linked by a topographical overview.
So, I am one vote highly in favor of your project.

Nice and grimy

It'll almost be a pity to put a hole in that...

Welcome, and artillery will likely be drastically different in CMx2, similar to what you described.Originally posted by FerretHead:Sounds good. Would also like to be able to specify number of rounds to be fired in a mission, rather than just blazing away for a turn at a time.
My first post - woo hoo!

AK Shermans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by MikeyD:Gautrek, I illustrated the bible on the bleedin' halftrack and they all look the same to me as well!
Me, I'm dead-in-the-water between mod projects. I've got to come to a decision on what I'm going to do next before the weekend starts.

MikeyD, you did all those luverly StuG packs, surely you'd like to do around $750 worth of plastic kits in Sherman form, right?

Nice tonedown of the neon exit signs.

One sweet way to tool around with dual fiddies.

Looks good. Definitely feels like Tunisia.

WC, good stuff. Always glad to see another person with modding talent step forward. You can never have too many mods.

Its still so far away, but its hard not to drool thinking about non-borgish, up-to-the-minute eye-candied, shortcomings-essentially-done-away-with CM.
The general forum. Bah, I would get banned if I responded to most of that.

Its all a matter of taste. I happen to hate JorgeMC's Tigers. They don't look at all real to me.

Sergei, its going to be hard to find a better AFV than those two.Originally posted by Sergei:Okay, now we've got one nomination for Tiger IV and another for Panzer 5 Tiger, what else?

Very nice.
Ambush for the win!

I find it interesting that you chose the Tiger IV, as it suffered from a low hamstertruppen to nahvehrteidigungswaffe ratio, and the crews disliked it as a result. I think the Panther III was far superior, but thats just me....Originally posted by Retigade:So pleace tell your favorite Panzer from WW2  jani_tillanen@hotmail.com

No, thats long been one for the wish list. Changing heights means back to default (0 deg).
Sorry.

Robert,
I was poking fun at his typing skills.
