Oddball, I use a ton of your prior stuff in BB and AK, but if you have later and greater sounds, then please put 'em out there.
I have practically every non-voice sound in the game modded, thanks to you and a few others. I highly recommend doing it. It adds immersion and enjoyment every bit as much as the graphics mods do.

I am still very happy with it. The "irregular: look is what makes it great. No billiard-table, indeed.
I have a 19" monitor, play in 1280x1024 and have no trouble distinguishing in terrain types, without using the los tool, etc. I don't think its too subtle, but that's my .02.

Quickly likely refers to the time needed to crunch it and give results. It doesn't play out a minute at a time and "resolve" the battle prior to reinforcements entry, it knows they are coming and factors it into the final result.

I hope that air attacks on units behind the front line, in transit etc, will eventually be modelled, but I don't mind if aircraft never find their way into the actual battles.

Well, you're not really. That Browning mod is 7/8ths Juju art. The mod would've been REALLY hard for me to do without him having done the hard bits first.

I'm curious to know if there is anything preventing us from making 2x2 block maps now? I assume the typical .cme map file will be used in CMC, and that there is no reason not to get started.
If so, we need to figure out if COG would mind having a CMC maps section at CMMODs or if The Proving Grounds map section would be the place.
If its all kosher, no reason not to have lots of areas mapped out by the time CMC is ready. :cool:

This mirrors my thoughts. I'm not ecstatic about CMSF, but I'll enjoy it, I imagine. However, as much as I loved BO when it came out, it sucked compared to BB and AK. Same thing here, I suspect.
